no problem, I say things that get myself into trouble all the time. I have grown to love it and use it for comedy. No reason wasting energy on people that don't understand what you talking about, it's not like they would get it.

What can I say? I like reactive attitude in those situations? :P. Hope you're having a good weekend.

most people don't put enough stock in thinking vs. feelings/emotions. everyone has both, and there's nothing wrong with thinking through things before acting/speaking.

Yea I believe you.. I was going on the assumption that I was broken, and needed fixing. Lesson learned! I really enjoy my natural personality anyway.. I just need to stop focusing on people who don't understand or appreciate it.

Exactly, I definitely don't want it to be over, but I'm confused as to what I do next lol. Maybe I'll research all the other types so I can manipulate people more effectively.

I was only trying to fix myself so I could efficiently get a certain girl, which is pretty INTJ in of itself now that I think about it lol. She's making me do irrational things >_>. I'm switching back to my "fuck you ALL" state mind.

I know I'm just feeling like " . . Now what?" I guess just back to living my life? lol

I'm definitely more confident in myself now though.. I found MBTI when I was researching psychology because I knew how weird I was socially; I was trying to 'fix' myself. Now I found a community full of people like me who accept who they are and love themselves and how they live life, instead of trying to change because society doesn't understand them. It's invigorating.

Right I did. We'll never really fit into these personality type boxes fully because we weren't created based on MBTI, but the other way around, so it's inherently flawed so long as we don't know exactly how the human brain works.

Most revealing weekend ever.. I don't even know what to do with all this new information lol

I agree. Your indecisiveness about your type is very P of you actually lol..

That made me curious, so I tried it as honestly as I could and got ^ those results.. who knows which one is more accurate lol. I sure don't. I think those mean typical INTJ though, if I'm reading them right.

I know I probably answered some questions as I wish I were, instead of how I actually function lol.. complete honesty with myself is more difficult than expected.

I'm thinking you need to read more about the cognitive functions. There are several threads on this and other mbti-based forums that cover the topic of Ni, Se and the rest. The post you repped me on outlined what they are about a bit. The cognitive function tests found online are interesting, but not terribly reliable. For instance, a lot of Ni doms don't think of their thinking as mystical or magical, and would thus end up with lower Ni scores than those who did. The problem with all such tests is that it asks what you prefer, which is almost, but not quite, the same as how you think.

Is that close to what you got? I feel like I answered 2-3 questions wrong, so I'm probably a bit more extreme than that.

It's pretty dead-on except the second and last paragraphs. I just don't care about other people in the way described there, and I would rather not deal with most people at all than have to bring them up to my level. That's the robotic aspect to me that makes me a great INTJ candidate, I think. I LOVE connecting with people who get me and are already on my level, like you. Of course I care for those people and their feelings and opinions, but I can pretty much ignore everyone else. I have been making efforts to appear concerned for other's feelings lately, so I don't come across as an asshole before they can understand me.

It suggested I also might be an ISTJ, and I do match up to the description of one somewhat.. It's just that I match an INTJ's description exactly. That one test seems to be confused lol, because I've taken at least five other ones on various websites before this, and they all have me as an INTJ, and a 'Mastermind' role variant on some of them.

The keys2cognition.com test also suggested that I might be ENTP, but I think that's just silly lol. They're supposed to be inventors, conversationalists, and non-judgemental. That describes my boss down to the letter, which makes sense because he has indeed invented several things lol, but definitely not me.

It tells me I'm an INTP Theorist, but I don't agree with that, or the questions it asks. Some of them are way too vague, and I could answer with either extreme and still be correct in different situations. It didn't suggest I was INTJ at all until I tweaked some of my answers that could go either way, and then it only suggested I was INTJ as a backup, it still had me as probably INTP. I do have many tendencies of an INTP, but I really don't use Ne as much as they say. I default to Ni, but Ne does come out under stress. I dunno if I trust the accuracy of that test, anyway.. I mean how do we know someone didn't just throw together those Qs and As without sufficient research?

Plus, INTPs are known for never ruling anything out, examining all possibilities, checking for factual accuracy, and doubting their findings. I would have researched and considered the possibility of being an INTP if I were one, I think, but I'm pretty confident in my INTJ classification.

I'm very logical. Its a great strength, but also my greatest weakness. Balance is good for everyone.
