I assume this is in response to my post in Monte's thread Yow! Reel it in a little, Old Man!. Nevertheless, it is sad.

The entitlement thing, I believe, stems from various issues and is extremely detrimental; not only towards the educational system, but also society in general. Though, as someone pointed out, every generation has complaints about the succeeding younger generation. Even though one cannot discredit the latter, the current problems seem systemic and building pressure within a confined space. Due to this, one should tread careful as to not let the pressure exceed the capacity of the boundaries of this confined space.

I work at a fast-food restaurant for a living. People like me end up there once they stop grinding things out. During my spare time I read books and browse search-engines.

I clean up after people make a mess...

Those who can do something about it sit comfortable already. There is an old saying; "never change a winning concept". The reason things are the way they are is because someone benefits from it, and they won't change the rules because that could threaten their position on the ladder. Never mind how small of a change it is, if it's caught moving in the wrong direction.

Oh, why, you tend to express your opinions head-on in person? That's cool if you do. Because, heh, I am the type who can be very expressive, outspoken in the form of written words and messages. I communicate best that way. However, face-to-face communication is another story for me, I find it even hard to express my truest feelings and views sometimes.

Alone time can actually be very good. This holiday (Semester break) I'm mostly spending time alone to get more peace and calm in my life before university starts for me in september again.

Hahahahahha. There are some things in life we just do because we feel like it. For example, sometimes I get too interested in global politics (a little bit too interested), simply because I feel like it! Okay yes I enjoyed the DVD of my favorite korean band. I have an unhealthy (lol) celebrity crush on the leader of the band (he's in my avatar). There was a part of the concert featured when he was almost naked and in the shower, and I felt my female hormones taking over OMG!
