Huh... how did I not know that?! With all my previous posts about working in pharmacy. Cool for you, though.

Sometimes I wish I'd gone that route. Although, to be honest, I never seriously considered it in school. I sort of fell into working as a tech after college. Because what else are you going to do with a degree in European Studies? Haha... but this company I work for is great, and pretty diverse on the business end. So there's definitely growth potential there.

Today I drank my coke from a really sweet Duragesic promotional mug. Caffeine, my drug of choice.

Thanks. It seems to have died down now.

I wish! Unfortunately it's not really a linear thing. You can be a pharmacist without ever been a tech, or a tech and never be a pharmacist. Being a pharmacist requires more schooling--which I would be ok with--but it's not my goal. I'm only doing it as a temporary thing before I go off to...library school! How INTJ is that?

Although pharmacists make more than librarians, but I'd rather be a librarian so I'll go that route.

Yeah. Some schools go gaga over the fact that it's "deep" and has "political commentary". Political commentary is not hard to insert in fiction. Ugh. Sometimes I feel for the state of our collective tastes, with the likes of Twilight, Fifty Shades, etc.

You're welcome, and I think youll be nicely surprised to see what the political situation really was... the way people reacted on an individual level in the mainstream German military. It really brings to light how people of opposing political views act when forced to fight in one unit, for a system they dont even believe in.

That's why I say hopefully. Nobody working to fix the world so I just find my place in it and hope I'm left the hell alone. Such is however not my luck. Arghh for reality.
