Everclear is easy to have a bad experience with. I have my formula that 1 oz = a stiff beer. As long as I measure precisely, I have no problems. Even better, if you can handle a six pack in an evening when out on the town, 4.5 - 5 oz over .5 hour hits hard, feels good and wears off rather quickly without the bloating. My cocktail mix of choice is Frazil and diet Mnt Dew 32oz.

Not much into liquor, but when cause and effect are the only considerations, I go for this little dandy:

It also doubles as clean fuel for a burner I use for heating wax shaping tools.

Ah yes, Idaho changed the age to 21 when I was 16. I, in a way, took it rather personal. Now I wish I could go back to 18 knowing all that I know now.

Indeed they do. One cannot purchase a Fat Tire in Utah and must go out of state. I usually head up around Idaho on a monthly basis. *glug, glug, smack, ahhhhhh* I just enjoyed one vicariously for you man.

That's cool. I remember sitting on my grandfathers lap when I was maybe 3 or 4 while we were driving back from the country. I asked to drink some of his beer (yes, people drank in their cars back then) and remember hating the taste. It wasn't until I was 16 before I asked to drink at the family table again and I haven't stopped since. As a side note, my grandfather is 87 now and he has cut back to maybe 6 or 7 beers a day.
