Oh, absolutely, it's important but it's not 100%. There are guys that go head over heels because a chick is hot. I go head over heel when she's hot and has a head on her shoulder and is doing something with her life. THAT is attractive. The ENFP chick that was my closest potential told me that she was impressed how un-interested I seemed even though she was extremely good looking. After discussing we both realized for me it's more brains than boobs... but of course, I need boobs too haha. I liked her not because she was gorgeous, but she was smart and understood me. She was intelligent and studying for a PhD. It was the perfect balance. As an INTJ, you should know what I mean. Abs of steel don't mean shit when the guy is as dumb as a doorknob. But, as a guy who takes care of himself, I obviously start the filter with visual appeal. That's the first of many passing points.

oh, and about 'getting her to WANT me', that's untrue. I learned that if I show no interest, the hot ones get pissed off because they are thinking they are missing something. It works great.
