Yeah. INTJf filters all references to other forums. Oh well. It's not really that important, I don't mind that somebody else shares an avatar with me.

Well that's odd. Must have actually grabbed it from me, because I created it myself. (Well, obviously I didn't take the picture, but I turned it into an avatar, cropped it, etc.) I'll have to go see this for myself.

I don't really think anybody is right or wrong regarding these definitions anymore. There are way too many people out there and almost every single one has a different definition (take a look at this thread, for instance). The best thing is to be absolutely clear which ones you are using right off the bat when going into each debate, otherwise...

Nah, it's cool. When I first entered that subforum, I was new to the whole debate thing and had no idea how problematic simple definitions could be. I learned quickly though.

Afraid not - unless they were originally from Southland there's not even a chance that I've come across them and forgotten about it.

Thanks, but I kind of regret posting it. It's incredibily frustrating trying to debate with someone who gets the basics so horribly wrong and who refuses to even glance at a well reasoned article on the Mises site. True, economics isn't a "hard science" but the subject is more complex than many people think.

It's just not worth it. If there were one or two people who got something out of what we're posting then I would continue. But I'm not sitting down to write a 20 minute post for someone like JTG to ignore it and then proceed to share his opinion which has no basis in reality.

I have never read 'Atlas Shrugged.' I don't know what it is about.
