Photoshopping cannot make a bad exposure look good, but you can make a proper exposure into a work of art.

With digital, you just don't need a dark room - its done in the editing software.

There are two parts to photography, whether film or digital. Part one is recording the details of your subject. Part two is the 'darkroom' work where you create the image from the information you captured. The second part is mandatory, not a crutch.

Do you use photoshop or some other program to edit images?

An old photographers rule of thumb for exposure:

Set the shutter speed at the film speed. If your ISO is set at 100, use 1/100 of a second.

If its a sunny day, set the aperture at f16. Some clouds, use f11. Very cloudy, f8. Should get you in the ball park lol. Then take a test shot and adjust from there.

Yes. And digital has made the process so much easier than film: instant feedback. With film, you had to wait to see the results. Made the learning process much slower.

Interesting structure in that one. I like the dynamic of organic and inorganic shapes. Bluegreen is my favorite color, no need to mix it with anything.

See a Jungian analyst. I can't help you since your problem is an intensely personal one. The only advice I can give you is to address your feelings and to try and address the root of your problem. Drugs, friends, exercise...These distract you.

    Purple and green is lovely!
If drawing helps your photography? I'm of the odd mind that everything we do helps everything else we do. Something like the cliche "whatever doesn't kill us, makes us stronger." Or that anything can be seen as a metaphor for everything else, and we can learn something about one thing, and use what we learned for another thing. No experience returns void, unless one chooses to believe it does.

Fishy! Which matches the majority of colors of my avatar. I think you're a color hyper-intuitive and you don't even know it.
