Yeah animals are the most honest and intuitive souls to be created I think. Talk about unconditional love and compassion too. I love seeing various species take in and care for one another. They have their distinct personalities too and certainly emotions. Like I say we can learn so much from them. Animal rights is the one cause I have been and remain passionate about. Cruelty to them angers me so and I am pretty passionate about defending the voiceless.

Oh I have encountered many dark INTJ's and INFJ's alike. I seriously have had to put up some walls because too much interaction with them would land me on head meds. I sincerely mean that too. We all do need to release pent up emotions, I just find too much dwelling and bitching weighs too heavily on me. Very hard to find the balance in this world!

And human nature is a mess isn't it? I recall seeing you mention in one of your posts you much prefer animals. I can so relate to that! I think humans could learn so much from them. At times I believe they are more advanced and evolved than we are. The world is a very bizarre place and since I was young was very confused where I was. I have definitely felt like an alien here and as an idealist it can be rough to accept reality. We live in our heads most of the time dreaming of a better place.

And thank you so much for the compliment although if you lived with me you may not be saying I am angelic! I am still a human and like everyone have my good and bad sides. I try to keep a lot of negativity at bay, it is taxing physically and emotionally, especially when we are surrounded by such darkness at times. I know I definitely need to remain positive and hopeful or else I will just sink into some scary states. I think that is why the moral compass we were discussing is so important to me. It isn't fear of the unknown but more fear of slipping into the dark side which any of us can have happen.

Thanks again for the kind words and the friend request. I do hope you know I was kidding about having a crazy INFJ in your presence. We are very sensitive people, but I think I have a thicker skin than some and really not easily offended. I am definitely a very politically incorrect INFJ so I may not be true to the portrait! It is great to get to know you, you seem like a wonderful person with a big heart and wicked sense of humor! Although I know one person in this forum your post really prompted me to join and glad I did. And don't give up hope on meeting your soulmate, please don't! Life gives us lots of curve balls but you never know what lies right around the corner, so hold some faith it will appear.

I definitely take people on a 1 by 1 basis as well. Everyone is unique and their own individual which is why the personality exploration has been a bit rough for me personally. I see how some general stereotypes can be easily applied yet also be easily false at the same time. I found out about all this roughly 2 years ago when I had to take the MBTI for work. I am the only INFJ in my specific unit and I work primarily with INTP's which was the first type outside my own I began to explore. It has been very useful in terms of working and progressing within business, specifically how we can all become more efficient and understanding of how we each process and implement our ideas. Shortly after I wanted to have my husband take the test, I was really curious because I saw many parallels to my type description and those of my coworkers. When I found out he was an INTJ (although he also leans very closely to INTP) I was then interested in learning this type next. I have seen many INTJ/INFJ pairings in terms of intimate relations, some descriptions calling us the "Golden Couple" and others which highlighted the difficulties in the NT/NF variance. Thankfully we have worked really well together which is rare regardless of type, but learning our little differences has really helped to bridge many misunderstandings, specifically with emotions (that dreaded word! :P)

And I will say I have frequented many other INFJ other forums (not the one you visited) and completely see what it is you are describing. Unfortunately for me I was very disappointed in many that I have run into. I am sure there are many mistypes out there too so it is hard to pinpoint exactly if these are true patterns within this type or I have just run into many that seem very bitter and unbalanced. I have been appalled by quite a few that proclaim how compassionate they are - yet the lack of compassion/understanding they display in their arguments makes me feel as though they are a fraud. I definitely have seen much hypocrisy and ultimately it lead me to leaving the forums.

And the same thing can be said with the some other forum I have frequented as well. You are going to have good and bad eggs all over. Online has also proven very difficult for me. It is much harder to read through words without other language I can see in the flesh leading to many misunderstandings as well. People in large doses (crowds of any sort) I can't handle too well. That definitely applies to RL and I think online just as much because these forums are very active with so many different personalities and energies firing off everywhere. I much much prefer one on one conversation which is also tough to get when in these groups out here.

Yes I do love the simpler life, always have! I love the Amish people too. They don't live far from me and I always joke that I am going to move in with them. Thanks for the friends request! It is nice to meet you and hope to learn more about you. I am glad you don't mind a crazy INFJ in your company - (I'm kidding!)

"stupid human tricks" YES! Someone else finally coined that phrase. Oh, and femmes look for in and treat butches similar to what straight women look for in and treat men. Strange place to find occasional support for the reality of misandry, which they've noted, often with similar internal political attempts to silence/invalidate them.

Agree about the rhythmic gymnastics. The "power gymnasts" these days tend to try really difficult moves that they can only land half the time, and even then just barely. Looks way too uncontrolled.

Looks like I didn't re-read what I typed. I mean't the closing london olympics ceremony. So garish, and filled with counter-culture music.

It is delicious. My cat likes steak and chicken. And the blood of humans. Maybe I should give him pepperoni.

Maybe the flypaper made him into a tough scrappy kitty. I'll have to give my cat pepperoni and see if he growls at me.
