2/3 deer 1/3 cat. Sort of like Gilgamesh except for the part where it's nothing like that

Ok thanks, I get concerned too many opinions is not the best thing, although I am always open to them myself too. I too am very analytical although my thinking functions are probably not as developed as yours. I know mine is always for a cause too, but the largest reason is for understanding. That is probably an intuitive trait of being so curious (too curious for my own good at times!) I think INFJ's and INTJ's alike are very good at looking at something from a detached view which makes us very similar in that regard.

I am a bond trader and our unit had this administrator come in a few years ago. It was entirely voluntary but most everyone in my group were eager to take it. I coincidentally was the only INFJ in the group. Most of my coworkers are INTP which was funny to learn too. It helped in terms of understanding how we process and communicate as well as how we implement those ideas in our work. It was really interesting and was happy to have that experience. The administrator sat down with each of us going over the functions and our results. It was great in terms of career growth too. But I am an open minded skeptic (always have been) and although I found wonderful similarities and patterns to help me improve, I try not to get too attached to it. I still question whether online tests versus what I experienced is any better than the other. I will say though I am entirely in the wrong field though for my personality! I have known that for a long time even before this. I want to go back to school for art therapy. I have too much of a creative/eccentric personality to be in a corporate environment, but most of my coworkers are similar in nature so that helps. It's tough to find the right path - especially when so many options are out there, plus it takes time and money too to get to where we want to be! There are no shortcuts and I do find myself lacking in patience at times!

Do you mind me asking what you do? I honestly have thought of quitting my job to be a dog walker. Money has never been an object, but of course now being married and having others dependent on me it is unfortunately on my mind more. But in all honesty, I would love to say enough is enough and go make pottery somewhere in the mountains

I found myself obsessive with taking the tests (I am still a test dork though!) and was getting more confused. The only reason I got into the MBTI was because of work (we had an MBTI administrator come in). I scored INFJ pretty strongly, but then I took the online ones I got INFJ, INFP and even INTP one time. I relate best to INFJ too and it helped to close it for me. We're all our own unique flavors even within type IMO. Sorry to intrude -you're probably tired of people's opinions. You do really strike me as INFJ though.

Nah, I still see INFJ unless I am biased. You are sweet whatever you are!
