Boo, it's that feeler stuff that makes us wonder what the heck is going on. I'm pretty stout on commitment as well, I wanna know what's going on....ironically, the guy who use I make out to music was an INTP and same relative problem. I had no idea what we were but instead of asking I just broke it off as I thought he definitely must not like me, *sigh* I was pretty far gone about him too, that N it just makes a difference.

What the heck Mogura isn't an ENTP suppose to be your ultimate match? According to Myers - Briggs in any case.....well you still remember her which means she's in the unforgettable category which is good or bad dependent on fallout factor, hahaha.

That sounds like a great memory! For all the music I love only had one boyfriend ever who liked to make out to music and that was when I was 15 in 95, weird. I have pretty fond memories of Led Zeppelin, tangerine....oh boy..

LOL, envious, p-shaw....I do love to make me some mix tapes though, it's true... I need to do that again. It's highly subject to circumstance though, I have to observe musical behavior to accurately make the mix with the right tunes, it's science I tell ya

I'm glad I can use that as an excuse, even though I really wouldn't be able to tell even if I did get enough time to look at it.

You are asking a very difficult question. I'm guessing Bombus terrestris, but I really have no idea.

You are, we've never sent each other a friend request and indeed it is the first time I am doing so at all. Since I think asking someone to be my friend on the internet is tantamount to stalking so, there you have it....

A better way to put it is that INFJs design their boxes very differently, and others' boxes simply seem inadequate for the job. As to self-classification, that's more a matter of self-understanding. You might try a stab at Enneagram type, to help separate out the "coping mechanism" behaviors as indicated by Enneagram from "how you think" behaviors.

W/r to DaveSuperPowers, he seems to be mostly accurate in his functional assessments. I think he's inaccurate in spots, but his broad brushstrokes are pretty much correct. It's probably worth paying attention to his synopses.

I've found in my online conversations, at least, that INFJs tend to have the most difficulty with typology, while ENFPs (NeFi instead of NiFe) are all like "Wow, that makes so much sense!" I think it has to do with INFJs not wanting to use "boxes" to classify people, so when you give them such boxes, they tend to see traits as falling partially into all the boxes.

For my part, I see the functions as qualities, not boxes, especially the dominant functions as I mentioned in that post: I see male vs female where others seem to see masculine vs feminine. If your mental plumbing is wired up as type A, you're type A, no matter how much you might act like type B. The hard part is that the plumbing is mostly invisible (e.g., in my m/f example, you don't get to take a peek between their legs!) so you're stuck kind of guessing based on outward attributes (and thus many mistake the outward attributes for the type). Those who have a hard time typing themselves metaphorically don't realize that there is a "between the legs" place to look and see which they are. I suspect Dario Nardi's recent EEG work is the closest to peeking between the legs we've got, at the moment. I highly recommend that book if you'd like some fresh insights on typology.

Thanks. It's really not that big of a deal. What I usually find these days is that sometimes I make an impression, and the rest of the time, they continue to talk in terms of dichotomies, as if "halfway between T and F" means anything more significant than "I don't know."
