There's no work, there's only fun!

The first telehandler with a electrohydraulic system? my team and me
The first telehandler with simple turn ON/OFF boom suspension? me
The first telehandler with float function? me
The current Deere 6R and 6M tractor hydraulic systems? my team and me

I wouldn't say it was easy and always fun, but looking back at it it has been a great time and I'm so proud of my former tractor hydraulics design team.
I had the honor to work with exceptionally great people to achieve the unthinkable! That happens very rarely and you still have to make sure to let your team perform on the highest level possible.
It is still impossible for me to describe those feelings when you get the feedback from customers who praise the stuff you've designed without knowing that you were responsible for it.

I'm Dipl.-Ing. (MS of engineering in Germany) and specialized in hydraulics and mobile working machines.

Currently I'm the teamleader of a design team responsible for the hydraulics of excavators formally known as RH120 - RH340 (today CAT 6030 - 6060).
Before that I spent my time on telehandlers and tractors.
This job is a dream came true!

    Thanks!
Well, I'm coming from the hydraulic side (very large mining excavators) and figured that after I have already made my passion my profession it's time to take the next step...
To wind my colleagues up a bit I like to state: You have to apply pressure to get thinks moving.

Hahaha! There you go again trying to impress me with your advanced vocabulary and grammar skills. ;-).

Obviously, with that amount of work, you should NOT be chatting on the forums. What are you thinking? :-)

Well, have a goodnight. Ill drop you a line when I have some sort of an opinion on Carbon Dioxide Sequestration. Then you can correct all my misunderstandings on the subject. lol.

Yea, I think the link thing was "operator error" (meaning I might be a moron) ;-). It would open up a new browser, but the address was broken and would just give me an error. I have it now, have not read it entirely though. The first thing that goes through my mind with storage only options is, Whats the endgame? Does it breakdown naturally? Ill read the rest tomorrow morning, I'm a little tired for that tonight.

Don't worry about the spelling errors (I wont judge you) ;-). When typing in these tiny boxes, Ill get lazy over time. I never get to the point of "wut up bebe? lfe b good?" but will let my grammar and attention to detail lax a bit.

Glad to hear you're feeling better! Why is there no sleep in sight? If you have not found this little gem out yet, NyQuil is reasonably priced and quite wonderful!

Having issues with the link, ill try again later.

Yea, the hurricane went right over. Not too bad in my area though. I actually got to watch a tree catch fire and come crashing down on my power lines though. That was the high point of my night, until I had to drag out the generator.. lol. Otherwise just fighting with water a bit.....

    Hope you feel better.

Ok, I resisted the urge to search for "Carbon Dioxide Sequestration", but am quite sure it has nothing to with legal notices or juries... what is it?

I live in mid to northeastern MD, currently sitting out the hurricane; I work all over MD though. Have not ventured too much into DC, recently anyways. I like the Annapolis area though, during the warmer months. Right by the water, boats everywhere, a little less congested, has a certain "charm" to it. What is it in DC that has your attention?
