Haha. Don't feel obliged to! I'm not even sure if that's how I feel. I just saw a perspective and jumped at it and wanted to dissect to see if it was accurate (to me). I think very few people actually get the sentiment of what I tried to explain. I think objectify is the wrong word, but I couldn't think of a better one when I wrote the thread, haha.

But yeah. Friendzone. Meh. I'm not worried about it. I'm just going to ask her soon if she sees anything more than friendship happening between us and be cool with whatever answer comes my way. :-)

Things have been okay. I just got back from Boston a few days ago. Cool town. I've also been a little annoyed about the coverage of the shooting in Newtown. It's important, but I just wish they would at least cover some of the other important issues going on as well instead of ignoring them. That's just one of my gripes, but I digress.

How are things going on the "other" front? I'm thinking things are going well since our last chat about it.

when i got that one lonely B in my grad program i thought for sure the world would end. then i got over it. one of my dissertation committee members said, do you really think htat anyone will look at your transcripts when you have your degree? Hell, no. nobody cares.
so don't worry so much about that. even overachievers get a free pass once in a while.

Ok, then think: That Too Shall Pass! oh, and the rewards, think of those. Mainly the one thing: it's over for another term.

Good to know that things are going well. I now get to upload all the grades and deal with those who think last day of class is somewhat of a maybe deadline for papaers.
