I agree with you but sometimes the process feels so pointless because for every person you finally "get" they change and it's too late and everyone is different and people don't make any sense anyway. I guess the only person I can ever truly understand is myself at the end of the day.

Most definitely, I am pretty sure my criterion for an ideal partner is 95% complete. It feels like I've level'd up and I'm on the final stage about to fight the boss to get the girl. No stopping us now xD

The economy is still good for teaching English, which is my profession here. The ladies are quite nice, although after dating a couple of Russian women I've switched to dating an English girl. It's a cool place to live, and there's a lot of stuff to do. Arts, concerts, bars, parks, etc. The winter is a bit harsh, but it's bearable. There are a lot of misconceptions about Russia, due to Western media portraying them as thugs, oligarchs, supermodels, and prostitutes. I have to say that there are an insane amount of gorgeous women in Moscow though. It's definitely a different experience than you can get in America or Europe, because there's something of a wild side to Moscow that is missing even in party cities like Amsterdam. I guess, especially as an INTJ, there's something fun about being a stranger in a strange land.

Anyone we meet could be a psycho, that's the risk you take. I've met screwed up people and paid the price as well, so I get it, I really do. I doubt it would have been any different if I had went on an internet-stalk though.

It's just how I approach getting to know people. I choose to trust until given reason not to, because I find any other approach just makes me depressed. That doesn't mean I'm naive and think everyone are lovely trustworthy people. I just don't think internet-stalking them is going to help/change that, and prefer to take other methods of "security".

Well it kind of got a little sour...we got into a fight a few weeks ago about that stuff I told you about, he hung up on me and we haven't spoken to each other since. It's a bit disappointing considering how long I've known the guy, but whatever. What can you do?
