that was pretty cool. i was going to say, you could teach someone else at the church to just update the news items... but if they were paying you, then that may be some easy side money

yeah.. so enough of my whining. how have you been?

I'm afraid that would only be a short term relief - the problems would just pile up while i'm out.

The challenge is, i knew this would be a lot of work going in. very entrepreneurial in nature, even within a fortune 250 company. they didn't have good IT process, standards, etc. part of what i'm there to do is bring that evolution about. but it's a longer, harder road than i imagined.

mostly work.. its really got me questioning whether or not i need to make a change. i love what i do, but when the stress pushes me to a point where i can feel my basic human interactions start to change (i.e. routinely snapping at people i would never normally snap at) then it's crossed a line that i need to think about making some changes.

somewhere in between stress and numbness... i think i've crossed some personal stress limit that just kinda overwhelmed me this past week. pulled one 24 hour straight run for work, and that just really put me over my threshold this week.. that's pretty much why i wasn't online much.. i checked in a couple times, but didn't really feel like posting much..
