yeah, i can imagine. once a system like that is in place, it would be near impossible to retract. there's no doubt our health care system is in dire need of an overhaul.. i'm just not sure the US government is going about it the right way.

well, i will definitely keep you in my thoughts (ok, more than usual ) and hope that everything is ok! please let me know when you find out more.

True.. although you can argue that you pay for it in other ways.. taxes being the obvious one, delayed diagnosis/treatment being another..

How does that work? do you have a copay, like we're used to seeing with our insurance, or do you just walk in, get seen, and walk out with no cash exchange?

is that a canada public health thing, or is that something specific to your condition?

i'm okay.. been pretty blah when i should be happy/excited/proud, and i'm not really sure why. may just be the holidays, or end of 2010, or whatever.

Is that something you're actively treated for, or something that you'll start seeking treatment for? I'm terrible with that - was just thinking about it today. when it comes to medical, i'll sit back and way overthink what may be wrong, but don't like going to the doctor to find out... i have to get better about that.

Actually no, I have been working right up to Christmas Eve, trying to get approval on all of my projects for 2011.. which I did. It's been a mad dash to the end of the year.
