Maybe that's an easy way to differentiate between INTJ and INFJ? Based on a sample size of four, that is.

Overall, it's definitely a life complication. Gotta feel like you're in the right time and place, I suppose.

Well, all that work drama ending in my favor (assuming that doesn't change over the next year) has set me up to be able to continue working for them anywhere I want. So, the dream of living in a dirt-cheap environment while making SoCal wages should be reachable. Then, I can be near family and old friends, working from home, traveling with said family/friends with the accruing finances.

It could be argued that an indoor-only cat is better than said cat ending up euthanized. I would probably keep my cat indoors, maybe with garage access or some other way of getting out on occasion. Sucks when they die or reproduce outside.

Everyone on the planet constantly demands that I get a cat, but it raises all the paranoia in my mind living on the 14th floor with round-edge balcony railings. Also probably moving back to Ohio next year anyway, so SOON.

    What's your excuse?

You still have to consider each case on its own - for some technical jobs, OK you need schooling. So you need to know what you want and how much education you need for that.

Yes, salaries today don't make up for the expense of school. If you start at the bottom in a corporation you won't be paid what you are worth. The profits won't come back to you as recompense for your work and education. They will go to the shareholders. Those already rich, who can afford to buy stock - $600 for one single share of Apple stock?

Better to be your own boss or own a business equally with others and everyone getting an equal share of the enterprise.

Hon, I haven't had time - yet - to read your blog. I think that if you are smart, have some good ideas and basic reading /writing skills then you will get ahead. With or without the degree. You will learn, without school, whatever you need to get the job done. But that could mean some technical training or apprenticeship. If you really need that.

Good. I'm kinda worried that you may get to feeling all the feels and be sad or horrified or overwhelmed but I think you should read it anyway and deal with that.
