I can't watch Dot Dot Dot here in the office. Every time I die laughing, and it's hard to explain.

It loosened the pain of hearing "all your wisdom teeth are growing horizontally and I need to take them out of your mouth".

God, I wish I knew! Really likable man, too; and it didn't hurt my feelings any that he was physically attractive. He was, to my mind, what I consider a 'real' doctor, the way I consider some to be 'real' writers and so forth: having made the commitment to a standard, when he couldn't stick to it within the HMO system, he got out and went solo. I haven't met many human beings, regardless of their line of work, like him, but especially I have not met doctors like him: compassionate, committed to an oath he didn't just mouth. Oh, well, eh?

That's a fact about coming across a good doctor and feeling grateful for the experience; I had one in the 80s, and then one around 1999 and he left the HMO system because he couldn't handle not getting to spend more than 10 minutes w/his patients: he went to Boulder or somewhere like that--not near me :=[ But I'm in Utah, now, and the doctors are (at least) knowledgeable, and not paranoid about drug use here: if you don't look a certain way, anyway--and don't sniff & keep wiping your nose on your sleeve... Where are my smileys (need one I can't 'write out').
