I have yet to come up with an appropriate term for that, but if there was a picture next to the term`s definition, that would have been it.

It's also saturated with medical and law studies. There will always be demand for some things.

I'll be working with children. Parents are nuts. They will do anything to fix or help their spawn. I don't think my job position will disappear.

It is a very employable skill, as is psychology majors. We can apply that degree to practically anything. Businesses need psychologists, education facilities need psychologists, economics need psychologists.

The awesome thing about working with psychology and disability specialists is that it is necessary. People are fucked up and will always need therapy and there will always be people who have disabilities. Win.

Would you ever study ASL? You couldn't take it back home and use it very well.

Yeah, we have a very good special needs program, excelling in Deaf services. A lot of schools don't have much of an opportunity for people with disabilities, so we stand out in that area. A lot of the students in the ASL programs or under their services are from really far away. Several of the international students are here for it.

We have a blind and deaf (and obviously non-speaking as well) student that I am just continuously baffled by. ASL is somewhat difficult to learn, and it is almost a completely pictorial language. And he's blind. He will just make a cup shape with his hand and you sign into it, and it doesn't matter how fast you go, he will understand. Amazing.

    Ah, alright then. That's okay.

He's one of the student managers of Deaf activities and events. He's fully deaf and an ASL major. Most anyone who takes the classes or even hangs around that area of the library knows him. He's very friendly and patient, so he can work really well with hearing people who don't know ASL at all.

    But isn't it due tomorrow?

It'll probably be fun. This guy named Jack is hosting it, and he is terribly sweet. It's nice to know people who are simply good.
