Lol, yep. Not by choice though. I had planned on laying in bed for the next 10 days and not moving unless I needed too but, of course, hanging out with friends and family isn't all that too bad.

How do you record? It seems that there isn't much extraneous noise in your recordings.

Nice indeed. I think the genre is more aligned with New Age. The guy's name completely slipped my mind, although I used to own his CD years ago. I searched for a new age artist whose name contains "r" (that's all I remember) and haven't found the right match. I enjoyed listening to the music. Thank you.

I actually haven't moved yet, I've just been busy dealing with some lose ends. I've been helping out with my high school's band a lot and then also helping my aunt move. Doesn't sound like a lot but they're trying to work me to the bone! lol

Thinking back, that No. 5 had some tricky spots and wasn't all that easy. Well, have fun...when you get to it.

Well then go for it! I like to entertain myself sometimes by playing simple Mazurkas. I like playing rhythmic music. It lightens up my mood.

What makes you feel drawn to the piece, other than the difficulty level?

I was going to listen to the Hungarian Dance No. 5 so I could refresh myself about the difficulty level, and Gyorges Cziffra totally ruined it by improvising madness. Hearing the gist of it though, I see a potential for a nice performance there.

    Lol! It was, thanks!

The fox fits me quite well but I think of myself more as a feral cat - but it's hard to show the difference between a feral animal and a pet, so I'll stick with the fox. - - - Only foxes can't purr.

I was just listening to some George Winston and was reminded of your improvisations. I think your style closely matches with George Winston and another composer that I cannot recall at the moment. I'll let you know when I remember.

I agree with you about contrast being important and I value being able to experience both good and bad for the sake of knowledge. I've worn plenty of other personalities, took off with it, and came back in the past. Plenty fun there. I admit I was reluctant to sway from what I considered my core personalities, so whether I gained as much as I could from that kind of experience is in question. I am not all that spontaneous or flexible when it comes to things like that. Just thinking too much gets in the way of taking off completely.

In my opinion though, some things are better left unexplored than experienced. There's no guarantee that I will come out (if ever) of that experience as a whole person. Learning about what's going on the other side, talking to someone who've experienced those things, or even helping them out a little may be sufficient for me (I am talking about extreme things like drugs, gambling, and other undersirable activities).
