And of course, not all attention is tasty. Sometimes even attention that you work hard to get is about as filling as a ramen cup because the person just sucks - like my parents or RBM. But yours is delicious and filling and it's hard to believe I can get it just by doing what comes naturally :3

lol I mostly just spill it out in the order that I think it makes the most sense...I think I'm just lucky that it matches up with other people's thought processes so often n.n'

Actually that's not entirely true. It's been a process. When I first got on the internet I noticed a lot of people were wrong a lot and furthermore that they were never happy to admit it. Unlike previous experiences, my obsessive need for social validation was in direct competition with my obsessive need to be correct about stuff. So I sought out the unique approaches, the ones who successfully differed on opinions. Always because they were deeper thinkers, but not always careful. I gradually learned that it wasn't so much about correctness as just doing due diligence on your ideas.

So um sparing some details but basically I got like this by being an insecure, anal-retentive attention whore

The woods were great. I feel better now. I think it was cause my little brother just left to go to university a couple of days ago. He was out with friends late the night he left and I had to get up early to go to work the next day so I ended up not saying goodbye to him. I got home from work and he had left a half finished box of candies on my desk with 'enjoy' written on them cause I think my parents wouldn't let him bring them with him. It hit me then that I won't be seeing him again till Christmas and hadn't said goodbye. I kind of shrugged it off and went on with my day and it's now a few days later and I'm beginning to realize that it's bugging me a bit more than I'd like to admit as he was my little brother and everything and I've always felt a bit responsible for him. I'll probably say goodbye over Skype when he gets there, better late than never I guess.

Yeah, I was a bit overcritical of you and others in that thread. I guess I'm a bit antsy and stressed today. I probably just need to relax a bit and stop taking myself so seriously. I find if I don't I'll become negative and controlling. Then I usually know it's a time to go walk in the woods to figure out what is really bothering me and stressing me out.
