Being able to defend yourself physically, you CAN do that with self-defense, ofcourse not in every situations. So it's condescending to point that out. Adding legally at the end of that sentence is the same thing. Self-defense does teach you to avoid lawsuits, but doesn't guarantee it will work.

I didn't say I condescended you. I said YOU condescended people by feeling the need to point out lawsuits. Same mistake as that you said I implied you were saying self-defense makes you invulnerable, while I said you implied others said that. So I see the failstorm hasn't ended.

Yeah, legal ramifications are something to worry about. You could've just said that if you think so condescending of people that they don't already know that. But instead you added a failstorm on top of it and didn't tell you were wrong. Weak.

Yeah that makes sense. I think mostly there must be a considerable improvement in self esteem, acceptation of oneself and psychological state, past the medical treatment. It could actually be worth taking a few risks, because identity is the basement of personality, and I understand some people can't carry on with their life if they can't identify with their gender. It would likely lead to depression, suicide, an otherwise painful life, etc. However the steps involved in the change, both psychological and physical always seemed almost unbearable to me. Someone achieving this must definitely be strong. Changing for any reason other than medical condition would be a mistake.

OK, so this means if you achieved the transformation as a trans woman, you might be able to carry on life without medication while for trans men they'll have to always take care to avoid hormonal mess up. Other than that, does it have implications on your general health condition / life span, if you don't mind me asking?

And do you have to keep feeding on hormones for the rest of your life, in order to not revert to previous gender? Pardon me if the question is stupid.
