When he was playing for Sabres he was in his best form, pretty much. Also thats was the time he played on national slovak ice hokey team and that was the time we won a gold medal on world championships. Hes name is funny yeah , but its pronounced differently in slovak language.

hahha yeah I can see the mix up. Its possible because both Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia although with different histories are slavic nations with similar languages.

The difference I would say and the easiest way to tell the difference is that Czechoslovakia has a great history in ice hokey. They won the world championships about six times. After the split up of Czechoslovakia we still have some of the best players in hokey playing in NHL both from Slovakia and Czech rep.
Slovakia has won world championships in 2002 and Czech republic won six times gold medal in 96,99, 2000 , 2001, 2005, 2010. So usually when americans know about Slovakia its via hokey.

Former Yugoslavian countries dont really play that much of hokey.

Hi. The band is not Slovakia although the language is close to Slovakian its Bosnian according to wikipedia. The music is pretty cool, but I dont understand it much.

I used to listen to Serbian metal. That was similar, but I already forgot what were the band names.

Yeah, I agree, actually. Like some chick growing it out for her love, hating the work, then bringing it down just for an occasion.
