I was actually thinking of making hats. Although, I have yet to own circular needles as well.

I would love to see the socks when you finish them, by the way. I have a friend who knits but I have yet to see her make socks.

Not yet. I don't really draw often, if at all. So it's more uncomfy to do than relaxing.
Hence I always resist when I have to draw something.

I did this test as a kid and hated it
Thought the psycho(wannabe)professional is kidding me.
Basically I asked, "What kind of tree do you want? Because it really doesn't matter to me what type/kind of tree it is."
I think I knew or guessed even back then what some parts can mean so that pretty much spoils and ruins the test.

Since I ain't that good at original artwork it's most likely a simple childish tree like there are in the thread too.
Or it would take me quite some time to make a decent realistic tree.

Just talking about the test in general.
Not directed at how you do it.

Nice to hear they standardized the administration.

thank you change came from raising myself without anything and wanting the security of a successful career, proving to myself and the world as compensation of not feeling much worth, the opportunity was easier and turned out to be good from working in silicon valley, still love the technology and possibilities... eh, different reasons.

having your own practice sounds really nice, being able to positively impact peoples lives can be very rewarding, righteous even with a world that can be horrible to people. its such a dynamic and open field that i understand why... i really hope the best and all the success to you that comes with it. i've met enough people involved to have much respect and admiration for them.

no sorry, its just a persistent interest that i thought might lead to a possibility for a different career track. had some psyche edu before i switched to comp/business sci, and did some online voulnetering and counseling for other survivors of abuse. are you studying psychology?

An, I've mostly been doing dishcloths (I just started knitting a few months ago, haha) but I'm hoping to move on to something different -- like a glove or a pair of socks -- when I get some DPNs.

Yes it is used a bit. I meant accuracy of the test, it is nice that you help interpret our trees

I know that even the simplest trees get interpreted, which I think can be misleading.
For example if someone asks you to draw a tree, in person, watches you, you don't have all day to draw the tree, so you just make a really simple one.
Where as if you would be at home, comfy you would spend more time and make a more detailed tree.

Also what type of tree the person chooses to draw changes. Or may be affected by where they live or are from. Pine tree vs palm tree?

Hi, what is the accuracy and consistency of this test? To me it always seemed more as reading a crystal ball. Especially when a single person will draw you a different tree every time you ask. Also what about those who are not well trained in drawing and thus will draw a very simple tree? Which may or may not have something to do with their personality but more with whether they are good or comfy at drawing or practiced drawing?
