"Yes" to the second and third questions. That should explain my answer to your first question.

I think your message will (unfortunately) be lost on many people here. Most of the posters are Millennials, who have no concept of what life was like prior to their birth. They prove Santayana correct time after time.

I am a baby boomer who got to go to college (on scholarship) because the Russians put up a satellite called "sputnik" the year I was born. I also took out loans in order to attend grad school, so I get your take on loans and contributing to society. My loans have been paid back in full, which was the responsible thing to do.

NOT stupid at all. Thanks for posting!

Pff, don't waste too much energy discussing these things with him. He will label anything doesn't agree with as EGO-tripping, because a guy named Tom Campbell said everything is virtual reality, everything good is love and everything bad fear. Repeat ad nauseam.

Actually I was referring to my above post being directed at you, then somehow I couldn't find your post above me.. hence the second edit.

It wasn't as much effort as it was squeezing in the time to pay closer attention, it's been a busy week so far.

It never really is expected, scores tend to be ridiculously inflated here to the point where numbers become more than an estimation; It becomes a standard.

A very wise decision you made in life.

    When you wrote this:

I suspect you are not married, or not married long. I'd bet on not married though.

Once you've been married a while you find out you didn't marry for what the other person is on the inside either. You are likely to find out you've married to fulfill your own needs, which in the end never really happens. At that point you learn to how to deal with your own shit and get along with the person you've signed the contract with, or you get a divorce.

By the time you figure all that out, you'll see that loyalty was just another security blanket you gave yourself to keep away the yuckies of insecurity. When you find yourself as an actualized married partner, loyalty just sort of happens, and doesn't need to be valued to exist.

At that point it's nice to have someone "hot" to hang around with.

Thanks for tapping me. I'm far from being a poet of any sort, but I'll consider submitting my Lennonish piece.

That is good advice. I will send you a PM with something that might be good. It won't be as close to me as other stuff I've written.
