Yes, it is possible to eliminate an infinite amount of stuff, but still leave stuff behind. That's why just counting sets isn't enough...

Exactly, that is my conclusion aswell. I was born on the internet and I have yet to find it = it does not exist.

Yes! And though you can always know that it can be found in a finite amount of time, no upper bound can be set for that time in advance.

Here's an example to highlight the difference between "infinite" and "arbitrarily big":
It's fairly easy to show that INFINITE arithmetic progressions of prime numbers don't exist.
However, it's a (super-hard, but that's not important) theorem that ARBITRARILY LONG arithmetic progressions of prime numbers do exist. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green–Tao_theorem )

Look - I think you're probably misinterpreting the problem. It's true that depending on what the dragon is doing, the number of required attempts can get arbitrarily big. But it doesn't mean it's infinite!

I think you're very close to solving the problem. But I get the feeling you're confused by something ...

No, much more specific. I'll post it for everyone later if necessary.

No. You get information about infinitely many points.

"If you actually do some research, Democrats and Republicans both believed the intelligence about Iraq."

It's actually worse than that. Leading up to the invasion Saddam Hussein was actively supporting violent anti-Americanism worldwide. He was also seeking nuclear weapons. And both of these are simply inarguable fact. We have in the archives in Carlisle, PA, the video recording of the Iraqi defense counsel discussing the program to obtain nuclear weapons - that occurred two days before the U.S. bombing campaign.

Waiting for the mushroom cloud would have been malfeasance of duty.

The distraction of blaming 9/11 on Bush would be hilarious, except these people vote. Bush is responsible for a terrorist aggression he inherited, but Obama is not responsible for a quagmire he inherited.

Sanchez is still the best Bond villain, classy, sadistic and coldly possessive at the same time.
