How do I get a new activation code email?
If you need a new validation email to complete registration, go to this url and enter your email address to get a new activation code. If you still have difficulty completing registration, you can start a thread in the Contact an Administrator subforum to request an administrator manually validate your account.

How do I retrieve a lost password or username?
If you have forgotten your username or password, you can request to have your username emailed to you and to reset your password here. When you fill in your registered email address, you will be sent instructions on how to reset your password.

How do I change my username?
You will need to request a name change in the Contact an Administrator subforum. Please be patient when requesting a new username. Due to the volume of username requests we receive, it can sometimes take a while to process requests. We are more likely to change names on new accounts that are not established on the forum. Changing a lot of established usernames can be disorienting to other users so we only change usernames of established accounts sparingly.

Please do not register a new account in an attempt to change your username. Since duplicate accounts are blocked by the forum software and require administrator validation, it is not a viable way to bypass waiting for an administrator to change your username.

How do I delete my account?
There is no option to delete your account and the administrators will not delete it for you. We also will not delete your entire post history. Deleting user accounts leaves gaps in the database and destroys the continuity in threads. Mass deleting posts affects everyone who has ever responded to you by leaving their posts without context.

How do I change my email address?
You can change your own email address in the UserCP on the Edit Your Details page. (direct link)

Can I register an account if I'm sharing a computer with another member?
Yes, but shared computers are automatically detected and restricted from posting on the public forum. You will need to start a thread in the Contact an Administrator subforum to have your account manually validated.
