    Well, it really depends on the context. Since you're pretty, I think it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that you probably have guys hit on you in tagalog. For those guys it wouldn't take too much effort to act shy and bashful with out verbally responding to their advances. So they could continue hitting on you for a while and when they look like they're about to give up you could ask them what they've been saying for the past 10 minutes. I get off on stupid little things that get reactions out of people or mess with their perceptions...nothing too exciting but it can make interactions a lot more amusing

    I would be very tempted to mess with people, in a non-malicious way, if I were consistently approached by people presuming you speak a language which you do not. But that's just me...

    It's okay, it happens all the time. My appearance is very ambiguous when it comes to ethnicity, so I pretty much have people asking me "What are you?" on a daily basis. People also come up to me and speak to me in languages I don't understand, usually tagalog.
