Most of the people who post here aren't really interested in learning and discussing openly. If you know anything about sociology, a lot of the behaviors people exhibit here are emotionally and socially based. Every now and then they even admit to it as a major motivator in what they say and do. I have seen a number of posters make big contradictions over time simply because of the social element.

Yea I can see that. Seems like they're really not letting go of certain things b.c of personal bias.

For what it's worth, most of this discussion is going in it's current direction because of posters with personal vendettas (confirmed), not honest topic discussion.
