Yeah, hah! It's all right. I theorize that it's because people on here just love to give their "challenging" judgments on things--that includes me. So any opportunity they have to give their opinions they will take it, even if it doesn't involve their judgement in the first place. It's not unhealthy that they speak their minds, but it's rather annoying.

Ha! Ha! Yes, these things bring people out of the woodwork. Unfortunately, we have a cadre of lurkers that seem to make appearances for little else; this would be OK, but they tend to be condescending, vulgar, and not really interested in the thread topic. This is what I mean by a "mugging"; three or four of these guys will show up at more or less the same time and post a barrage of challenges that can't possibly be fielded by one person. It destroys the thread.

This kind of uncivil behavior has made rational discussion of religion virtually impossible here. You will not see anyone here engaged in cordial discussion of shared convictions; the goons won't allow it, and NO ONE WILL STOP THEM.
