I suppose they're just comparing his abilities to that of an average human.
"You can't fool me, I'm the world's greatest detective!"

Yeah, Spidey was bitten by a radioactive spider and all of that and has increased strength, but when you compare his powers to that of Superman, Green Lantern etc, it sort of pales in comparison. I don't consider his powers to be of the "super" level.

Batman doesn't, but Spider-Man does have powers, although it depends on which variation, he utilizes a lot more in some than in others.

Yeah, these guys don't really have "super powers" like WW and Superman etc. Plus they use their intellect a lot more. They have to. They are much more interesting characters.

I have, which is why I'm a fan of both Batman and Spider-Man, although I've always known the latter a bit more.

Comics are absurd, haven't you noticed?

I have, the whole "equality" theme going on. She seems a likeable character enough for that alone, although the whole truth lasso and invisible jet thing seems a bit absurd. Oh well, the more absurd the better in my opinion.

Yeah, guess so. Just sent you another message before this one.

I say concentrate on the character herself. All the other stuff is just fluff. I mean almost all other females in comic books are like that. Perfect bodies, big boobs, sexy outfits...

Wonder Woman back then, from what I've seen, wears something that a very senile elderly woman would wear on Halloween. I suppose it's understandable for such a time.
I wouldn't be surprised if they tried updating her look. Of course, being a woman, it'd be more along the lines of:
"She needs to create more sexual tension! Bigger boobs, skimpier clothing! Leather, it must look kinky!" From what little I have read, that would ruin her image.

That's a very positive way of looking at things. My professors give me waaay too much homework so I rejoice when there is a break!

Not usually. I don't see it as work, just a pursuit in what I like.

So you don't like it when classes get cancelled?

I usually look forward to my class, just because it's something I'm interested in.

Oh, that's unfortunate. I hope the next one in the series is an improvement.

I got sick last weekend and I am finally getting better. I just found out that all my classes today and tomorrow got cancelled so that means 2 extra days of rest. Yippie! I am very happy!

I've been trying to enjoy Assassin's Creed 3, being a big fan of the series. So many things just feel rushed, though. It's still a decent game, but I still favor 2.
