Me, no. I basically can't watch or listen to anything without cringing from time to time. I shun 99% of media and surround myself with likeminded people.
What would you suggest, a lobotomy? Once you start to recognize these things, a lot of media becomes infuriating and unbearable. It's awful, but it sure saves me a lot of time. I just wish I could adblock actual physical billboard (strategically positioned alongside the bicycle lane, so I'll always at least glance at them).
(On a related note, that's why my posts here get angrier and angrier. There are so many intensely stupid people.)
So I've been doing a lot of Sociological reading lately. It's answered a lot of questions for me about why our society operates as it does. But I'm also angry and I wreck almost any joke, show, movie or even simple advertisements. How does one 'get over' the feelings of disgust and anger and repulsion when one sees the underlying, diseased basis of these things?
I'm so giddy. I've been seeing this American girl and doing crazy kink stuff with her, and last night, I slept over at my polyamorous penpal R's super sweet, petite and cute girlfriend's place and made out all night. Poly poly poly! This is great. They're so different, too.
Yeah, don't worry about me. Just two, "so you have one side of your mouth you can eat with". Except it swelled up and I can barely move my jaw, so now I understand why my American friends tell me they tend to do all four at once in the States.
