Have any of you ever worked with an INTJ? Be it in school or at the job? Well, I'm on my high school's newspaper staff (Graphics editor) and the Editor in cheif is an INTJ.

Considering I have very high standards when it comes to work and the things I expect from people when committing themselves to a job at hand, he is perfect. Since both our positions are sort of related to each other, we often work together. We exchange jokes and quotes from The Office, and just generally screw around with each other using witty remarks. However, like me, he's sort of...only interested in his job? I have to admit, I like him a lot (haha), but we're just so attached to the making of the newspaper that we often don't care about personal endeavors. Come to think about it, our relationship is sort of like Jim and Pam's from old episodes of The Office...D: It freaks me out. Yeah, I like being around him; but I think we both realize that our only real relationship is going to be with our work and grades for the next two years. Which is the sad truth.

So, my question is, what are your experiences with other INTJ's who you're working with, or INTJ bosses? Staff relationships?!

Don't think I know any INTJ's in real life. I though I was unique until I found this forum and the people in it.

Sorry I couldn't have been of any more help!

My ex was INTJ.

Needless to say, she's my ex.

I've never been in a relationship...
But I do know two INTJs. One is gay and lives in my dorm (and loves to hug everybody, an interesting trait for an INTJ), the other is my (female) boss. (I'm female myself.) It shows me how different INTJs can be... I get along with both pretty well, better than with most people. I don't feel unsure about what I am doing or how I should be behaving when I'm around them.

snap.

we just clashed over too many things.

when I've worked with INTJs, being around them always makes me hyper-aware of my own failings. I prefer to work with a mix of different types so that we've each got our own role/niche.

Where do you two live so I can go smack the both of yas for putting a high school newspaper above getting together? Ask the poor boy out already.

Working with another INTJ, who is as sarcastic as myself, might be quite a challenge.....

Hahaha, I don't know. We both care a lot about our grades. He's #5 out of a class of 590? I'm a little bit lower. The thing it is with me is that I end up liking someone but I don't know what to do next. I'm afraid of what the outcome will be, that's all. I don't wish to be distracted! But, I ended up liking him. Damn those witty INTJs!! D:

We talk and we're good friends, but we're both still very "distant" when it comes to emotion, really. We don't feel like expressing our emotional feelings without sounding...awkward?! lol. Let's just say we hate making mistakes.

That's it. It's OK to exchange ideas with them, but I wouldn't really want to work with another INTJ. I had a brief experience of it, and it wasn't really positive.

I think I'd be secretly lonely inside if I was with another INTJ! I like the ridiculously affectionate side of my ENFP. It's needed.

The first time I met an INTJ I was absolutely floored. We worked brilliantly together, and that was a first for me -- to really, really click with somebody on a purely pragmatic basis. We're still friends.
