I think it was 'The Lion Heart Brothers' by the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.

It is a story where children come to a fantasy world when they die.

My very first in-cinema experience was Pocahontas, when I was tiny.

When watching films, do you more often root for the hero, or the villain?

The villain. They tend to be more interesting.

You?

jonnyb

I go with the character whom bothers me the least. Whether looks, attitude or what the character sounds like all has bearing.

How old were you when you stopped going trick-or-treating? (if you ever did, of course)

Cooper

12 or so, I guess. Thats when I switched over to "haunting".

What do you like about Halloween?

MassHysteria
10-27-2010, 08:08 PM
Everything. My favorite part is probably the escapism of it. We're free to indulge in our more macabre side, and everyone joins us. It's a glimpse into the darker, twistier parts of our neighbor's minds. That, and there's something surprisingly freeing about putting on a costume to hide your ''real'' identity and let an alter ego come out and play.

Same?

Cooper
10-27-2010, 08:14 PM
Uh, I do that all the time...

Going all out with the haunting of my house and scaring people.

Whats your favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Seriously
10-27-2010, 08:17 PM

What is your favorite Holiday?

I don't have any imaginary friends anymore. Except Joonas. He usually sits beside me if someone wants to sit next to me and I want to be alone. When they ask "is this seat taken", I reply "yes, that's Joonas' seat".

What would be your weapon of choice if you were to enter a no-holds-barred brawl with warriors from around the world?

jonnyb

I'd have to asses the weapons in use, or going to be used. Firearms, I think I'd go with an m-2 with lots of spare magazines and grenade launching apparatus (with grenades of course). Blades, 16" narrowed machete along with a 5" pocket blade is the best I can come up with for my preferences. I am not an experienced warrior.

MassHysteria
11-03-2010, 07:58 PM
Uh, both. I'm in the ''I'll try anything once'' camp, and I'll try to hang on to the things I really enjoy. They always get me through.

jonnyb

I have little passion for anything actually. It kinda sucks. The main drive that I have is that I don't like to sit around. Hopefully I can build another home soon. The last one was a good place to burn off some pent up aggression. I do like my creativity, it's art in a way.

jonnyb

Not neccesarily the movie rather than my imagination after the movie. I have a wild imagination and think about previously watched movies if I have nothing else on my mind. Have you ever given extensive thought to how you'd kill someone?

jonnyb
11-03-2010, 08:31 PM
Someone in particular, only for two people. I come up with cleaver ideas every now and then at random. Seldom when I am put on the spot.

Would you ever support someone in a crime or at least not say anything, or would you insist that they turn themselves in and/or tell?

MassHysteria
11-03-2010, 08:36 PM
Depends on the crime, the person, the situation, and maybe even my mood. There are a lot of factors to include there and a lot of arbitrary guidelines that I'm sure only I live by. Would I look the other way if I saw a friend shoplifting? Yeah. Would I help a loved one dispose of the body of a mutual enemy? Absolutely.

Do you stand up to your friends when they're doing something you think is wrong?

jonnyb
11-03-2010, 08:41 PM
Depends how and if it will implicate me. The only time it was an issue to me is when I made my friend walk around the block with me a few times before driving us home after a night of mild alcohol. I usually don't hang with people long enough to have issues like that.

Have you ever drank alcohol (regardless of the volume) and then drove ?

MassHysteria
11-03-2010, 08:44 PM
After an amount of time, yes. A Guinness and then two hours later drove home. Drunk driving, buzzed driving, and tipsy driving are not to be counted among my sins.

Same Q?

jonnyb
11-03-2010, 08:52 PM
Yeah, I generally don't drink much when on the town. Three beers over an hour or so with food in my gut is my max if I am driving. More than three beers, I am waiting for some time to pass by.

What type of drunk are you? Crying, aggressive, silent, etc.......?

MassHysteria
11-03-2010, 09:01 PM
I've never been drunk enough to fail a breathalyzer and be classified as ''drunk,'' but I'm a warm, affectionate, giggly ''tipsy,'' if that counts.

Girl I met in drawing class. I think she liked me. I liked her too, very much. I think we both had issues with proximity.

Presuming you value both, how do you consolidate the need to be unique with the need to bond with other people?

WyohKnott
11-04-2010, 02:40 PM
I wouldn't say that I feel a need to be unique. I just am. Although I may have many things in common with certain people, I am more than the sum of my likes and dislikes.
