I don't lie. (Note: That is not a lie, I really don't lie. My friends acknowledge this fact.)

What's the biggest lie YOU have told?

auriga vega
12-07-2008, 12:30 AM
That I don't lie.. hehe..

How many snowmen have you made in your lifetime?

rahdam
12-07-2008, 12:56 AM
That's a tricky question, and I can only respond with an estimate: 10 < x < 20

Did you decorate your snowmen with coal eyes and a carrot nose, etc?

Flamethrower
12-07-2008, 05:59 AM
I live in a city where it doesn't snow so my life is sadly devoid of building my own snowmen.

What music gives you goosebumps?

ssrprotege
12-07-2008, 08:33 AM
Some of well-conducted Mahler's Symphonies. Goosebumps because they are so real and simply too awesome.

How do you feel when you know you utterly f***ed up your final exam of the subject you know you will do well? (Yep, another Truth: I messed up my math final exam yesterday )

Flamethrower
12-07-2008, 10:00 AM
I fucked up exams I should have been good at in high school but I didn't care because they weren't part of my overall goal of what I wanted to do with my life - which at the time was join the music industry.

What's the most irresponsible thing you have ever done at work?

rahdam
12-07-2008, 11:47 AM
I skip certain meetings because I already know they will be fruitless. This always works out, as everyone else knows these meetings are fruitless and no one has the balls to call me out on skipping one of these meetings, knowing themselves that they are worthless. They only wish they had the fortitude to skip as well, in my opinion.

What are you wearing right now? (;))

Nikita
12-07-2008, 12:17 PM
Nah, I already have injuries that won't heal. Life is pain, you just get used to it. (or so I tell myself, lol)

rahdam

Both are intimately related, or course.

My greatest fear is that no one will know how much I love them.

rahdam
12-07-2008, 04:50 PM
I've never done anything bad to a teacher. Sorry I am boring in that way!

Would you rather subsist on a diet of popcorn or chocolate (taking into account how long you would live on either diet)?

Nikita
12-07-2008, 06:22 PM
I think popcorn would sustain me longer, plus I wouldn't have to worry about iodine deficiency.

Have you ever fancied yourself a hero? If so, describe your fantasy.

rahdam
12-07-2008, 06:29 PM

Nikita
12-08-2008, 09:59 PM
Depression - I can handle anything personal...I don't have enough freedom with finances to worry about the other, lol, it won't change my lifestyle at all. I put the "po" in poor...everyone wishes I were a lot more materialistic. *shrug*

Nostalgia - my dog :(

Tragic Hero
12-08-2008, 11:11 PM

Did your same-sex parent bond with as a kid by engaging in shared activities?

rahdam
12-08-2008, 11:23 PM
We used to run together, I ran cross country and track and he trained with me.
We used to wrestle. My brother and I used to wrestle too.
When I go home, I see my brother and father wrestling all the time.
But they WILL NOT wrestle me, either one.
Well, my brother will give it a go, but he ends up tapping in about 3 seconds flat.
It kinda sucks to see them wrestle when I can't join in... =/

Are you closer to your mom or your dad?

Nikita
12-08-2008, 11:26 PM
Neither, honestly. My mom has consistently chosen her new husband and his family over spending time with me. My dad, while we get along better now, doesn't like to have me or my brother around and we can't go even a day without fighting over something in the other's presence.

(ha, I used to wrestle with my brother, too, and his friends)

If you could trade lives with anyone, who would it be?

schwartzie
12-09-2008, 06:22 AM
as I attempted to answer, I realized I really have too many qualifiers to fairly answer. Like, do I get only the past part of the life (which was known and nice), or only the future (and not the dreadful hard past that got them to the great place they are in now-think tina turner-?) Or do I have to take the whole thing?

And do I get their attributes, or do I bring mine.? Like, if I brought my singing voice and playing skill, well, I shouldn't pick a musician cuz I'd just mess up their career.

But, if I got to have the talent of my target, well, I would dearly love to be making great rock music! yum. Joni Mitchell or Madonna or Janis Joplin or Joan Jett....

so how about you? who would you be?

dalidaisy
12-09-2008, 06:54 AM
Oh, shit. Probably someone who got paid to sit around & think, since I doubt it'll ever happen to me. Maybe Albert Einstein or maybe Leonardo da Vinci, because I'd also love to be able to create art & write with both hands at the same time. I'd also like to be remembered after my death as someone who made a difference in the world.

Can you pat your head & rub your belly at the same time?

Do you blow your nose in the shower or always use tissues?

Um.... toilet paper normally! I am really really tidy though and hate goobies of any sort so I would never do that disgusting thing of carting hankies and tissues around on my person, reusing them like some people do. Yuk.

What is the saddest display of humanity you've ever witnessed?

Allie
12-10-2008, 09:01 PM
There have been so many, but this one always stayed in my head (most likely the futility of the mother trying to save her child until the last seconds):

Give an example of the most selfless thing you've done not related to a friend or family member.

INTJoe
12-10-2008, 09:25 PM
Oh, jeez, INTJs are not selfless. lol. Or maybe that's just me.

It is probably sandbagging for the Great Flood of 1993 in St. Louis. I was 14 and of course it was for free, but I had nothing better to do. Everything was flooded!

Give an example of the extent of your honesty.

rahdam
12-10-2008, 09:47 PM
Not really a question.
And tough to come up with on the spot.
I'll say this: I broke up with a girlfriend in college for some VERY private reasons. My roommate was worried about me. I told him the reasons; mind you, these are reasons that NO ONE would want to tell anyone else. I really can't be more specific, but it would have been eternally easier to say something else than what I did.

Is a sentence really a question?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 09:49 PM
In a game that simply requests the truth, I think it will suffice.

What is your main motivation in life?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 09:55 PM
I want to improve the lives of people I meet and make a difference.
More specifically, I want to be able to provide for my family in every dimension possible in the most selfless way possible.
My current career and my next career address what I precieve to be two of the biggest domestic policy issues facing our nation, and I play to use my experiences in those careers to enter politics later in life (house, senate, etc.) and try to effect change based upon my experiences in those professions.
Did I mention I want to be EVERYTHING for my future wife? That factors into almost everything I do as well (staying in shape, etc.)

Are there aliens out there?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 09:58 PM
I have no idea. I go back and forth on whether I believe in them. It feels hubristic to think that we are the only intelligent life in the universe, but we could just be an accident of nature, so who knows? If they do exist, I don't imagine them to be the weird green stereotype that has survived the generations.

Do you believe in Heaven and Hell?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:00 PM
Yes.

Do you?

pure potential
12-10-2008, 10:01 PM
I am confident that we recreate a version of them in our minds during our existence here. Beyond this reality (where most Heaven/Hells exist), I don't know.

(I don't like fish, I use boning knives for other purposes....)

no current favorites, but my favorite overall is a BBC3 reality show called Spy - I generally view it as a waste of time

thought - freedom

Would you rather love someone from afar, or love them closely and then find out that you do not love them?

pure potential
12-10-2008, 10:17 PM
Love them close up, and if its mutual, live happily ever after! :)

If not, then just admire them from afar.

Who do you admire?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 10:17 PM
If I wouldn't really love them in the end? Afar.

Admire - no one, I find that it's dangerous to put anyone on a pedestal

Do you wear anti-perspirant?

pure potential
12-10-2008, 10:20 PM
Ahh, I don't put people on pedastals though! Admiring is a fondness of qualities that can be healthy. I admire your quick wit, Nikita.. ;)

Yes, organic antiperspirant. There are lots of chemicals in those things, be conscious with them!

What qualities do you admire most in others?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:21 PM
Nope.
I don't have much body odor.
Besides, why would I want to mask my own pheromones?

Which anti-perspirant do you wear, if any?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 10:21 PM
anti-pers: yes, lol, I like the way it smells - Secret (my cousins like to sniff my underarms, apparently I smell like bubblegum)

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:24 PM

Nikita
12-10-2008, 10:25 PM
I don't like concerts

What is the significance of your user name? Why did you choose it?

pure potential
12-10-2008, 10:26 PM
Not the home I was looking for. It could be a treehouse in Tahiti and that would have answered it well enough.

I'd live with everyone! In peace!

I believe that is what we all are- pure potential.

What planet would you like to settle (survive and thrive) on?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:27 PM

It enslaves the Conrad family and turns them into Tekkaman to do so.
But Slade escapes the process. He is forced to hunt down and kill his own family so as to save Earth.

Fear i will not make a difference.

Are you courageous?

Nikita

Are you strong?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:37 PM
Yes, physically and mentally.
At the gym, I have yet to see anyone with remotely my build lift as much as I do.
And I can scrap with people that are much bigger than me, and often come out on top.

Mentally, I never give up. Coach Jimenez always said "tiger to the tape" and I've never forgotten.

Are you weak?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 10:38 PM
No.

What is a favorite dream of yours?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:48 PM

What is your favorite dream?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 10:52 PM
I had a dream that took place in this theater, but it was where the fate of the world was decided. There were a lot of weird things that happened that I can't remember anymore, but in it I was trying to access an inner power. I failed many times, but at the end when it mattered most, a white light erupted from my body destroying all evil. It was an empowering dream!

What is your favorite family tradition?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 10:54 PM
When I lived with my family, we took vacations every year.
I don't live with my family anymore, and traditions have gone by the wayside a bit.
We are INTJ INTJ INFJ INFJ. Only mom tries to create any traditions.

Do you think tradition is important?

Nikita

My dad has thought about getting one for a long time.
I really hope he does.
All birds of prey are inspirational.

What is the temperature outside right now?

pure potential
12-10-2008, 10:58 PM

Fascinated with any cultures in particular?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 11:00 PM
All but my own.
Funny how that is.

Where did you get your avatar?

rahdam
12-10-2008, 11:03 PM

Nikita

rahdam
12-10-2008, 11:55 PM
Never. I hobbled around when I tore my meniscus, but never crutches.

To what end would you go if your injuries would be healed?

Nikita
12-10-2008, 11:58 PM

rahdam

You?

rahdam
12-11-2008, 12:05 AM

I think that when I get in my next serious relationship, I will probably stop posting for a while.

Why did you come here?

Nikita
12-11-2008, 12:07 AM
I just stumbled across it. I was researching my type, and searched for something that led me to an INTJf thread.

Why all the INTJf questions? lol

rahdam
12-11-2008, 12:08 AM
I think it comes naturally to question the mediums of ones lines of communication.

Do you know your IQ? And what type of test did you take to find out?

Nikita
12-11-2008, 12:11 AM
No idea. I've taken online ones that range from 132-158, but those are not reputable. I've never taken a real one.

You?

rahdam
12-11-2008, 12:13 AM
You volunteered more information than the question asked.
I've taken the online tests, my roommate and I were talking the other day and he has taken the actual live test. He was about 20 years old when he took it.
(There is something extremely funny about the score range you posted. Do not take this as an insult, it's not. It does have me chuckling on the inside.)

Would you rather be socially bright or intellectually bright?

Nikita
12-11-2008, 12:17 AM
I'd prefer a balance, honestly.

What is your favorite weapon, besides your body?

rahdam
12-11-2008, 12:18 AM
Desert Eagle 50Cal AE.
I don't find rifles all that sexy.

What does the use of weapons in a street fight say about someone?

Nikita
12-11-2008, 12:20 AM
Either that they came more prepared than the other guy, or more likely that they lack the skills to win with their own two hands.

rahdam
12-11-2008, 12:28 AM

Do you? (sorry to repeat all your questions, fatigue setting in)

Nikita
12-11-2008, 12:31 AM
Not intentionally, but it does tend to happen. (no worries, I'm close to retiring, myself)

If you were going to hang a work of art in your room, what would it be?

Nikita
12-11-2008, 12:38 AM

I own a queen, but it's in storage. I own a full, but I left it at my mom's house for now...in storage. I currently sleep on a twin that I do not own.
