I've already met the one I'm closest to, and the one I'm most interested in is never around anymore.

Same Q?

jonnyb
08-10-2010, 10:04 PM
Gonna meet a couple of people from the forum this next week if plans go as outlined.

If you had to forcibly leave your residence right now without ever being able to return and could only take three items, what would they be?

MassHysteria
08-10-2010, 10:11 PM
My laptop, my mother's quilt, and my passport.

What do you usually keep on the top shelf of your fridge?

jonnyb
08-10-2010, 10:14 PM
Um, duh....beer! Oh, I also have a pan of sloppy joe there right now too that I made Sunday night; it'll be gone in one more day.

What do you keep on the bottom shelf in your freezer?

MassHysteria
08-10-2010, 10:17 PM
Bags of fruit, berries and vegetables, flour, crescent rolls, vodka and veggie burgers.

What do you keep in your glove box?

jonnyb
08-10-2010, 10:23 PM
Vodka in the freezer......Good idea.

A few commonly breaking spare parts and tools for car. Insurance, registration documents. Graduated pill cups to measure out my everclear when out on the town. Vehicle info books. Locations and maps for natural gas fueling stations.

Spare tire, jack, tire iron, gas can, Maglite flashlight, boots, jumper cables, odd wrenches, and my portfolio/spare sketch books.

Same Q?

jonnyb
08-10-2010, 10:48 PM
Ah, Crystal Skull. I got a bottle of that from the mustang ranch for my karate instuctor last may. Very smooth!

Natural gas tank, bamboo and cherry practice sticks, a briefcase with land and water documents, an old plunge router lever, car repair manual, and a quart of oil.

Is your immediate family a source of peace or stress for you?

MassHysteria
08-10-2010, 10:50 PM
Great stress, unfortunately. My brother and I are getting closer though.

Same?

jonnyb
08-10-2010, 10:59 PM
Stress. Usually the only time I hear from them is when they want me to do some home project for them. Even the most benign phone call turns into a request to fix something.

When you go on a trip, do you have to have all the lodging logistics worked out before hand or do you fly by the seat of your pants?

MassHysteria
08-10-2010, 11:03 PM
For cross-country road trips, flying by the seat is perfect. For oversea trips, planning down to the second is best.

Who would you have play you in a movie about your life?

jonnyb

Have you ever picked up a hitch-hiker before?

MassHysteria
08-10-2010, 11:16 PM
No, not a hitchhiker. About this time last year I stumbled across an old man who'd gotten lost in a nearby state park, and I drove him home. I guess that counts.

When was the last time you manipulated someone into doing you a favor?

jonnyb

I've only tasted O+.

WyohKnott
08-11-2010, 01:02 PM

jonnyb
08-11-2010, 09:19 PM
Not really.

How well do you mingle in crowds?

MassHysteria
08-11-2010, 09:49 PM
It depends on the crowd. I'm very uncomfortable in tight groups of people my age or younger, but it eases up around throngs in their mid-twenties or up.

Do you count your chickens before they hatch?

If you could drastically change one thing about yourself for one day, what would it be?

jonnyb
08-11-2010, 10:08 PM
If it is only for one day, nothing......second thought, as long as I can revert back the next day, I'd go for being a woman for a day. That way I can know what all the hype is about.

If you could instantaneously change something about yourself forever, what would it be?

MassHysteria
08-11-2010, 10:10 PM
I would shut off my emotions completely. They never get in the way of my decisions, but they're still irritating.

Same q?

WyohKnott
08-11-2010, 10:17 PM
I would stop whatever it is that makes me cry when I get really angry. I hate that.

MassHysteria
08-11-2010, 10:25 PM
That I'm content to be alone for large chunks of time. It doesn't mean I hate the world and it doesn't mean I'm shy or antisocial or defective. It just means I want to be alone a lot.

MassHysteria

MassHysteria

Did you get into a lot of fights and stuff as a kid?

jonnyb
08-11-2010, 11:45 PM
No, only three or four. I was big for my age through school and was left alone by most. One of the exceptions was a kid who took boxing lessons and saw me as a challenge.

MassHysteria
08-11-2010, 11:49 PM
Traveling, learning new things, trying new things, being introduced to new ideas, and doing what I love. That and money.
