Yes. My capacity to trust that person in the same way was altered. My awareness that people can do this was raised.

In what do you find serenity?

jonnyb
08-07-2010, 06:29 AM
I have a small, dark room that I sit in and think things through. It is totally devoid of light. I use it for occassions that I desire inspiration. In that room, I can sometimes find serenity.

And you?

Bluesea
08-07-2010, 06:39 AM
Being immersed in nature. Watching animals grazing. Accepting what is. Meditation.

Why is trust important?

jonnyb
08-07-2010, 06:45 AM
More rather the ability to predict another's actions to consistently coincide and jibe with values you personally deem as important. Although there is the trust that people will consistently be at odds as well. So perhaps trust is important in the view that it is consistency. People for some reason strive for consistency in a chaotic world.

Do you like consistency? Why or why Not?

Bluesea
08-07-2010, 06:58 AM
Interesting I would have focussed on the importance of our values being kept intact in what you wrote more than consistency. I see what you mean though.

Difficult question to be a yes or no with. Yes at times if it is a thing I value or is positive. But no, I do not like consistency as well, not all the time. I think too much consistency and unchanging routine switches my brain off. The variation of inconsistency keeps me intellectually interested and engaged in things. I could never be a process worker in a factory, I think I would pass out from being brain dead. Yet emotionally I do like consistency. So No intellectually. Yes emotionally.

Is there value in chaos? If so when? If not when?

aok

Yes, when order is too restrictive and regimented.

On average, what percentage of your time would you ideally spend alone?

JeffersonFawkes

So long as I have my partner only about 30-40%, should we break up that would go up by quite a lot as most people get on my nerves.

Most embarrassing time you have farted in public.

jonnyb
08-07-2010, 02:37 PM
I am not embarrased by farting in public. However, in karate work out doing calestentics(?), the gal I was paired with farted and turned red with embarassment. Everyone looked her way and I took credit for it (not to be nice, no way) to be funny. I couldn't help her when she peed her pants from laughing though.
