How important is society to you?
04-20-2010, 01:00 AM
In which sense?
The social hierarchy sense: Not at all.
The greater sense: It's important in the sense that life would be boring without it, and it provides structure that many need. Without it, I think the world would appear to be as chaotic as it is. This way, people are galvanized towards some productive end, as a general rule. I just don't care to live within the bounds.
Do you think you could survive torture without cracking? Why or why not?
04-20-2010, 01:05 AM
I don't have a very high pain tolerance :P
04-20-2010, 01:08 AM
Honestly, I think I could because I could come to accept the new tenor of my life. That doesn't mean I wouldn't try to change it or to escape, but I know how to detach from pain. I don't entertain rosy little thoughts about someone coming to save me. I know that I live or die by my own hand, so to speak. I think it's the people who can't accept reality and seek to deny it who will crack the easiest.
Put these in order of importance for you: family, friends, pride, love, sex, money, career, freedom.
04-20-2010, 01:12 AM
Torture ?: As far as divulging information, it would depend how important the information would be to me personally as to how much gaurding I will demonstrate. I would probably eventually break. I have withstood imense pain at times, however, I get reminded how painful a sliver in my nailbed at times. In any case, I would take the smallest opportunity to escape or die trying while hopefully taking a few of my assailants with me. Although I like living, I think people ascribe a little too much value on life (especially their own) at times.
Put these in order of importance for you: family, friends, pride, love, sex, money, career, freedom.
freedom, pride, family, love, sex, friends, money, career

"I see dead people." (You know where that's from, right?)
04-21-2010, 03:09 AM
I'm a mentor. I'm not a hustler. I'm a conduit, I'm a circuit. Listen... Listen to me very carefully. My whole mission on this planet right now in relation to you is to introduce you to yourself. You know that. You're a deeply sexual human being. You have major erotic power. The easiest thing, and the most selfish, would be to convince you to lend yourself to one person, even if that one person was myself. That would be suffocating to you, and ignoble of me. That's what a hustler would do, and I refuse to hustle. I'm looking to lead you down the path of Ovid and Sappho, D.H. Lawrence, Edna Saint Vincent Millay, to say nothing of the whole hip-hop revolution. It's the path of the Bible: "Seek and you shall find. Know thyself". You're so ready right now to open yourself to discover your capacity for multiple men; multiple in the sense of at least a few. Maybe not at the same time, but sequentially. And - I know I'm getting ahead of myself here and you might not want to hear this because you're at least a year away from being there - but at some point you gonna be ready to explore women. And enjoy them. They already desire you all the time; you're just oblivious to it.
Who is your cell phone service provider?
04-21-2010, 07:14 AM
When was the last time you seriously doubted yourself and why.
If this is too personal then just answer the last one or something :P
04-21-2010, 08:02 AM
Two or three days ago. I doubted whether I can make my aspirations a reality in my life because of my impatience, sudden strikes of lack of interest, and having to involve other people. Got me pretty down for while....nothing a beer wouldn't fix though.
04-21-2010, 12:36 PM
I doubted my sanity the other night because I was having a nightmare and my husband was trying to pull me out of it and it was hard to get out of it. I had one of those moments when it feels like ice is running through your veins. Scary!!
04-21-2010, 01:50 PM
I doubted my next course of action I should take in the relationship with someone very close to me. I did not know what to do and this is very rare for me. It has worked out so it's ok now.
04-21-2010, 06:52 PM
When is the last time I seriously doubted myself and why??
It's an ongoing demon. Every last stitch of time since the morning of February 14, 2009. There are degrees and sometimes it's less than others, but every time something needs to be fixed that I don't have the immediate skills to deal with it's worse.
04-21-2010, 09:22 PM
Seriously doubt myself? I'm not sure I have ever SERIOUSLY doubted myself. I question myself about what I am doing, but I have never doubted myself. I know I can do what I set out to do, that I can make it through whatever is tossed at me, that the reason I fail is because I let myself. There is no room in life for doubt.
04-22-2010, 05:55 PM
The last time I seriously doubted myself was last Thursday. It was for a myriad of reason, of which I don't wish to discuss here.
How do you find solace?

04-23-2010, 08:02 AM
Robbed, as in held up, no.
Robbed, as in high item things stolen from me, yes, a few times.
Pick pocketed: I think I may have. Hard to say as a frequently forget where I put some things. I like to think the former as it makes my memory look better.
Have you ever arsoned something that belongs to someone else. What? If not, would you like to?

If you were to end a job in which management has driven you away, would you go out with a bang or just work through your 2 week notice and leave surely and quietly?
04-23-2010, 08:12 AM
the latter, i try not to burn career bridges
What is your definition of going out with a bang in the above scenario?
04-23-2010, 08:18 AM
Going out in a self gratuitous way giving a piece of my mnd to those who piss me off. A little immature to think about it but would satisfy an itch momentarily. More than likely, I shall just go out quiet.
What would you value more, higher pay or working for people who actually gave a shit about what you think?
04-23-2010, 08:22 AM
depends on the job, honestly...generally I'd go for people giving a shit about what I think

Yes I've had a couple, I had it surgically removed and it went really bad...2 months off work for a measly toenail surgery. Silver gauze, everything. Others I fish out with a penknife after numbing it with an icepack. I've also recently had my Left Big toenail ripped off during football, right Big toenail is currently half hanging off, again from football. I'd be better off without them tbh.

Several times. Car accidents, illness, other injuries, etc. I can think of better ways to spend a Friday evening.
If you were trapped out in the middle of nowhere with your arm pinned under a huge boulder and your only chance to survive was to saw off your own arm with that wimpy little blade on your Swiss Army knife, would you do it? If you would do it, would you pass out?
04-23-2010, 09:29 PM
I could do it if I had too. Not sure on the passing out. If I did, it would be because of blood loss. I would make sure the rock was really not going to go anywhere first though.
