How important is society to you?
Nikita
04-20-2010, 12:00 AM
In which sense?
The social hierarchy sense: Not at all.
The greater sense: It's important in the sense that life would be boring without it, and it provides structure that many need. Without it, I think the world would appear to be as chaotic as it is. This way, people are galvanized towards some productive end, as a general rule. I just don't care to live within the bounds.

no way
I don't have a very high pain tolerance :P
same question
Nikita
04-20-2010, 12:08 AM
Honestly, I think I could because I could come to accept the new tenor of my life. That doesn't mean I wouldn't try to change it or to escape, but I know how to detach from pain. I don't entertain rosy little thoughts about someone coming to save me. I know that I live or die by my own hand, so to speak. I think it's the people who can't accept reality and seek to deny it who will crack the easiest.
Put these in order of importance for you: family, friends, pride, love, sex, money, career, freedom.
jonnyb
04-20-2010, 12:12 AM
Torture ?: As far as divulging information, it would depend how important the information would be to me personally as to how much gaurding I will demonstrate. I would probably eventually break. I have withstood imense pain at times, however, I get reminded how painful a sliver in my nailbed at times. In any case, I would take the smallest opportunity to escape or die trying while hopefully taking a few of my assailants with me. Although I like living, I think people ascribe a little too much value on life (especially their own) at times.
Put these in order of importance for you: family, friends, pride, love, sex, money, career, freedom.

Nikita

I don't really get embarrassed. I tend to have a "fuck it" attitude about potentially embarrassing things because it's not like I can change their reality.

I'm a mentor. I'm not a hustler. I'm a conduit, I'm a circuit. Listen... Listen to me very carefully. My whole mission on this planet right now in relation to you is to introduce you to yourself. You know that. You're a deeply sexual human being. You have major erotic power. The easiest thing, and the most selfish, would be to convince you to lend yourself to one person, even if that one person was myself. That would be suffocating to you, and ignoble of me. That's what a hustler would do, and I refuse to hustle. I'm looking to lead you down the path of Ovid and Sappho, D.H. Lawrence, Edna Saint Vincent Millay, to say nothing of the whole hip-hop revolution. It's the path of the Bible: "Seek and you shall find. Know thyself". You're so ready right now to open yourself to discover your capacity for multiple men; multiple in the sense of at least a few. Maybe not at the same time, but sequentially. And - I know I'm getting ahead of myself here and you might not want to hear this because you're at least a year away from being there - but at some point you gonna be ready to explore women. And enjoy them. They already desire you all the time; you're just oblivious to it.

Two or three days ago. I doubted whether I can make my aspirations a reality in my life because of my impatience, sudden strikes of lack of interest, and having to involve other people. Got me pretty down for while....nothing a beer wouldn't fix though.

When is the last time I seriously doubted myself and why??
It's an ongoing demon. Every last stitch of time since the morning of February 14, 2009. There are degrees and sometimes it's less than others, but every time something needs to be fixed that I don't have the immediate skills to deal with it's worse.
Same q.

Seriously doubt myself? I'm not sure I have ever SERIOUSLY doubted myself. I question myself about what I am doing, but I have never doubted myself. I know I can do what I set out to do, that I can make it through whatever is tossed at me, that the reason I fail is because I let myself. There is no room in life for doubt.

What is your definition of going out with a bang in the above scenario?
jonnyb

Going out in a self gratuitous way giving a piece of my mnd to those who piss me off. A little immature to think about it but would satisfy an itch momentarily. More than likely, I shall just go out quiet.

Yes I've had a couple, I had it surgically removed and it went really bad...2 months off work for a measly toenail surgery. Silver gauze, everything. Others I fish out with a penknife after numbing it with an icepack. I've also recently had my Left Big toenail ripped off during football, right Big toenail is currently half hanging off, again from football. I'd be better off without them tbh.
