Tough one. Lemme think. There's a great picture out there of two guys rolling Jiu-Jitsu. One is hugging the back of the other, and they are both smiling at the camera. The caption is something to the effect of "Jiu-Jitsu: It's only gay if you make eye contact". The catch: Those two were 2 of the top 5 205 lb fighters in the entire world when it was taken. I know I've seen things much funnier, but they don't come to mind right now.

during law school - if there was ever a time I could have potentially been diagnosed with depression, that would have been it...but I wasn't

I lost a high school friend to Leukemia. To seem him lose his form and and happiness was very difficult for me.

hating it - the material wasn't difficult, but I absolutely hated it

I found no one as smart as me, and thus, no competition to dominate.
This lead to complacency on my part. Someone said about me once: You can play at any level, so long as the competition is there to drive you. You play up or down to the level of those around you. I wish I could do that.

in many situations...but not all, there are times when I just haven't cared (like law school)

Why did you go to law school? Surely there was a reason when you started, at least.

well, I graduated from undergrad a year early (I got pissed and wanted out of the school...so I accelerated my hours and for some reason picked up a minor, an easy one, though, and got out of there)...but in finishing up early, I realized I had to do something afterwards. I had always been told i'd make a good lawyer and i knew the money was decent, so I decided "why not?" i took the lsat, applied, and got into a top 15 school. the real irony is that after i was accepted, we went to that city/state to find a condo for me to live in, i knew driving through there that i didn't want to be there, I think I actually cried i was so upset...well, we get home and there's a letter from the school...they cancelled my admission because they didn't receive my letter of intent (which I've still never gotten in the mail). i was so mad at being told i couldn't do it and scared about what i was going to do if i didn't go, that i talked my way back into there after three weeks of conversations with the Dean. i wish now that i had tried out for Juilliard or something like that...even though I don't think I'm good enough

I know how to interact with and relate to about anyone.

I won the high school spanish department award, but I have not formally used it much sense. It's very roughly conversational, but I can tell from my interactions with my students that it would come back very, very fast if I put in the effort. They are always impressed.

Spanish...I'm also pretty good with some phrases and general pronunciation of French, German, Latin, Hebrew, and Italian

Only English and Spanish. I can't say I've ever even inquired how to say that in other languages.

If I'm really sick, I want to lie down with comfortable accoutrements and watch retarded movies. Usually prefer to be alone - with someone on call in case I think I'm dying. (Not unusual.) Yesterday/today, I just wanted chili or soup, and a backrub. And a pedicure.
