I'm new. This is an introductions area. So here I am due to a not very interesting string of events.

I used to think I was just weird. While I don't believe completely in personality "stereotyping," I pretty much fit the description of a typical INTJ. Anyway, you can call me Jay. I'm female. I also have way more male friends than I do female friends. Girls typically tend to annoy me. Not all of them, but the majority.

I'm in college for Visual Communications Design. Not to be confused/mistaken as a Fine Artist. Seriously, there's a big difference between the two. I don't "paint my feelings," I solve problems and come up with solutions. In my spare time I also do computer programming... mainly in Java, though my focus right now is on web development - PHP, JavaScript, and the like.

As a result, most of my friends are either in Computer Science, or are Engineers. I tend to get along pretty well with those types. My boyfriend is also in Computer Science. Which is nice... since he knows what I'm talking about most of the time.

I think that being an INTJ has made me very ah... picky about who my friends are. I recently had a falling out with my best friend of 6 years. She was more of a feeling type and we'd clash a lot. We got along great and had a few similar interests, but ultimately I think that I just wasn't supportive enough for her. At least, not on the level she was wanting. I'm still determined to fix things between us, but it's been a year now and I keep getting the feeling that I should just let it be.

Haha. Hi. So that's my life in a nutshell of sorts. Or maybe in an ostrich egg. I don't really know. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you though. Maybe I can make this one of my regular haunts. Who knows.

Hi, nice for you to care to join us at INTJ forums. Its very hard to talk with an "F "personality when its on high gear. For the "T" side, we get ignored, "yeah, but I am trying to help you[F side, blah, blah, blah, etc.]" Don't worry, in here your safe about anything you wanted to say.

Thanks. :) F and T clashing is a real headache for me. My boyfriend is an ENTP and we get along really well. He makes sure that I don't get completely lost in my brain, haha.

It does clash, I am more borderlined F, so INTJ and INFJ. Hey, if it draws people, great, if not oh well, then there is another day. But, it is said that, "ENTP's" and "INTJs" meant to be together. Both sides are realistic innovators. Actually, I am in a current group with an ENTP guy, who is very harilous, if it goes off topic, but its the humor that reduces stress and keeps you in focus on whats happening around your environment.

Thanks for the welcomes. :]

Yes. I have to say that ENTPs are one of my favourites to be around. I'm not really sure where I'd be without this guy. He can be silly, or have a serious conversation if needs be. Smart and ambitious... I could melt into a puddle of goo right here. Haha. :P

I think I'll definitely be lurking around this place. >__> *lurk-lurk*
