Hello, and greetings to my fellow carbon-based sophonts.
To answer the three most commonly asked online questions: 19, male, Norway.
Though my type is identified as INTP, I would much rather have left out any type description at all, as I do not identify with any of them, though I would be greatly intrigued if anybody here knew a page containing an extensive - or even just rudimentary - list of differences between INTPs and Js.
Also, you might want to de-Freudianize your spambot filter (http://img48.imageshack.us/my.php?image=reg1xd4.png).
Does your copy of DazRules contain any elusive or unusual paragraphs of which I ought to be aware?

I always did find the people who hung out on MBTI sites but didn't want to categorize themselves with a type a bit odd. ;)
though I would be greatly intrigued if anybody here knew a page containing an extensive - or even just rudimentary - list of differences between INTPs and Js.Read this thread. (http://intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=814) INTPs are the second most common type here- so no worries if you're not an INTJ.
Also, you might want to de-Freudianize your spambot filter (http://img48.imageshack.us/my.php?image=reg1xd4.png).You kidding me? That's awesome, I only wish I knew how to make it do that more.

Welcome to the forum!
What's a Freudianized spambot filter? (Or what does it do?)

When you register for for things like forums, you are asked to type a code displayed in an image to ensure you are indeed a human and not a spambot. Click the image link he put up... you'll see why the code is Freudianized :P
Welcome, Darklord!
*feels extremely strange after saying that* >_>

I do not believe the MBTI is sufficiently well founded for me to want to embrace it. Based on a tautology - in response to your answers to your questions, we will now attempt to predict how you are most likely to answer! - and then embellished with pseudo-psychology and over-generalizations.
Also, I'm not really sure of my type. I blame systemic bias.

Of course you do. I forgive you. It is not every day one welcomes one's future demonic overlord.

Oh, it's not that part I think is odd. Nothing wrong with skepticism, and I don't think you should believe in it unless you find good reason to. It's just the fact that you're still hanging out on forums based around the MBTI despite it. Not that you aren't welcome here- I just find it curious.

The MBTI generally attracts a certain kind of individual, and forums based on it do tend to be more civilized than your run-of-the-mill site, and quite intellectual to boot.

Ah, well that is debatable. ;)

Indeed. I should have qualified that with an "in my experience", or even an IMO.
Then again, as evidenced by my father's comments to me, my own level of civilization is debatable as well, so I ought to fit right.

No worries, this forum happens to be very civilized (IMO :)). But after seeing enough lengthy threads on MBTI forums arguing over what other member's true types are, points ignored in favor of stereotypes of the other member's type traits being attacked, and people getting all wound up and upset over it, I don't see it as a quality inherent to MBTI fora.

Well, ok, the point is conceded. But they're still more civilized than most gaming fora (Forum fora fora forarum fora foras forum fora fora foras). And it's fun to watch.

Watching people make fools of themselves? Always.
Well, that, or become even more convinced as to the stupidity of humanity. I much prefer the amusing variety.

Is this a global variable? Why did you include "New" in the name, is there also an "Old_Arrival"? What about prefixes? But most importantly, who will ever reset this variable???
So many questions, and yet I just wanted to say "Hi, welcome to the forum" :)

Yes, it is a global variable on this forum, but not outside, where it generally refers to infants.
Old_Arrival is the variable for those cases where somebody new here experiences déja-vù.
"Ar-" is a prefix, a side-form of the Latin "ab-", meaning away from or not.
Mod knows who will reset it, but I'll bet nobody will get around to it and it will fall upon me.
And thank you.
