...the most highly visited! Since the switch to this new layout, every time I log in the "social interactions" forum has the most number of viewers.

There are 2 ways I would interpret this:

1) We are already social creatures to begin with, despite our personality traits, and care about these issues.

2) We are the anti-social creatures as predicted, but seek to change that status quo and thus.....care about these issues too.

Discuss.

Maybe because socializing is so perplexing?
Or maybe because it has sex in the description?

I think most INTJs have the rest of their lives figured out. The only area we really have difficulty in is social interaction so it makes sense that we would be looking for help in that area. . .especially from other INTJs.

It would be like having a fully locked and loaded infantry squad that doesn't have a functional radio. They're going to be focusing on getting that damn radio working because without it they are disproportionately handicapped.

Hah! Not me. I loved it when the damned thing went south. I'm pretty strong on personal initiative.let me do what i thought best. Its better to ask forgiveness than permission. Especially when accompanied by unqualified success.

I'd like to add another suggestion too. It could be that non-INTJs are here trying to figure out how to relate to INTJs. Which, for me, is not too difficult, until we get to anything related to romance/sex/dating....then it's just horrible. As an ENTJ woman, I can translate INTJ, I can translate Man, I can translate INTJ Man, I *cannot* translate the INTJ Man Dating Dialect....it's a mystery to me. I've known several INTJ men, some have liked me, some I have liked....we've missed out every time. Even though ENTJs and INTJs use their NTJ differently, I think it's that shared bit that makes it that much more difficult. The difference is that, eventually, I'll just get impatient and then Ms. Direct comes out. Or the dreaded Fe Monster (you probably had to be there to understand that).

But really, I think that most people who are interested in MBTI are interested in understanding themselves and others they have to interact with better.

I say we like to analyze social interactions...

It just doesn't equate to us liking to participate in them.

Ok, looks like I have to add...

3) We are the anti-social creatures as predicted, couldn't care less about changing it, and just enjoy watching the shenanigans that more sociable creatures get up to.
