Probably what falsehood can he use to ensure more more tax breaks for the wealthy before he leaves office, or how to trick the country in to the war with Iran and how much oil are under Iranian soil.

George doesn't sleep well at night, as his hands are shaking with anticipation for the end of his administration, when he can finally grab the bottle again and go back to being just another incompetent, shiftless, perpetual frat-boy alcoholic... which is all he should have ever been allowed to be in life in the first place.

Hmm... I think his thoughts that keep him up at night would be more along the lines of, "No way... but it tastes just like it! How can this not be butter?!" :stunned:
he has thoughts? wow!
i figgered he was like walter winchell's dummy; someone just stuck their corporate hand up his derriere, and moved the strings...
and the next one, whichever, won't be any different....

Georgie...he's quite a character. I don't usually jump into political conversations, but this topic has my wheels turning a little.
On some level, I think Dubya believes he is doing the right things for the right reasons, or at least felt that way at the time, which is something we all do. What I really wonder about is how a person in that position reflects on decisions of such magnitude and importance. What questions run thru his mind? What doubts does he have and share among his intimate circle about the choices he made? I personally doubt that he has no regrets whatsoever, but are political mechanisms preventing him from saying "my bad"? Or, does he have absolutely no doubt he's made the right calls all along? That would make him something besides human, I think.
I just wonder.
What are thought that keep George Bush up at night?

What color to paint the house he buys to retire to in a few months.

Take a cue from Paris Hilton - hot pink!
I agree with moriarty, i believe he was trying to do what he thought was the right thing at the time for the most part, but i also think he was used as a puppet to some extent by the more intelligent, conniving, and greedy of his advisors and partners. I'm sure he has regrets and overall is very unhappy with his presidency.

Probably the idea that he failed his country when given (arguably) the most influential seat in America.

Arguably the most influential position in the world, too.

Would be alone in saying that I became ill after one minute of watching that?Well, it is a little disturbing to think that this guy was/is in charge of the most powerful country in the world. They might as well have just pulled some construction worker off the street and put him in office instead. But that's also what makes it so funny, in retrospect. ;D
I think another one is in order: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

"If this country goes to shit can I get out before I am publicly crucified old school roman style?"
*not saying that would be right etc, I don't blame the puppet. Not to mention the presidency isn't supposed to have any power anyway... just noting what countries do to the people they blame when they fall apart.

He's thinking, gosh... did I really get away with the last eight years? I'm glad people think I'm stupid. Without the dumb card I would just look like a malicious SOB. Well... time for bed, maybe I'll dream I'm very rich and very powerful... oh wait. I guess I'll just dream about the mother from that showtime show, weeds. Then I can beat off in the morning.
