Here is the situation. When the Ipod was first purchased, my roommate had a Mac, and all 300+ cd's she has were painstakingly copied to the Mac (by me) and then synced to the Ipod. For work reasons, she no longer has the Mac, and has a Windows laptop. Since the Ipod was formatted for Mac... Please tell me there is a way to get that music onto the current laptop from the Ipod. I don't want to have to burn all those cd's again...

Not that I'm aware off. As far as I knew, both Windows and Linux variations of the transfer process require the ipod formatted for Windows

You can access HFS+ formatted iPods using HFSExplorer (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.). So you should be able to copy all music files to the new laptop.

Also SharePod To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. It really helped me once when I lost all the music on my computer.
