Ok my obligatory #1 post. My intro...

I'm an intj undertaking a career change. At a young age i quit studies in economics and business to change to music.. I studied music at university level.
Curiously i never enjoyed being the centre of attention, while performing. and still don't really. I didn't make it big in performing music. SOme of it was fun. But sometimes i felt that i was too painfully introverted to be a performer.

Now i regret not putting my intj 'strengths' first. I wish i'd done this earlier.
I have enrolled in a Finance (quantitative) degree. I have been educating myself and developing financial models in my spare time... I am thinking the intj analytical, logical, system building strengths will serve me better in this field.
I am starting again as a wiser, older person.

That's all for now

Welcome to the forum.

What kind of music did you study?
What kind of music do you like?
Now that you're back into finance, do you find that more satisfying?

Hello Karlostomy-
Although as an INTJ you certainly won't need validation from someone else about your move into finance, I will say that I've become increasingly interested in finance too.

Not from a practising perspective within a company, but through analysing corporate accounts of listed companies to make own investment decisions. The patterns, systems and creativity in its allocation is fascinating.
The sheer importance of finance within a business should also be a natural INTJ attraction...

Welcome!
