I had no clue, where does this suggestion goes? Seemly, we just had our 1st Anniversary on INTJforums. I was just thinking of this the other day and wondering. Should there be an INTJ Project! Particapated by any members on the forum. All sole purposes is for the good intentions for the forum maximize our full potential and creativity. Now, the INTJ Project can be anything. Just an example, if you got the opportunity to revise any areas[ex:laws, society, environmental, Science/Tech,etc.] How would you do it? Why?

It could be anything, like this as of right now. We need to think about the future and how to improve it. Now, its an opportunity to show yourself, if you were in charge, what changes would you make? Would you stick to it, after making this decision?

Who knows, if someone actually took these ideas from the INTJ Project; any other types maybe join in. Well, let just say, Jez will give them an earfull of something! These good ideas should be share with others, in hoping someone would implement it one day; for good use I hope? What you all think of it?

I agree with you and when i joined here i mentioned that in my opening post. Yeah, members here have enormous potential to solve, improve or invent. Beside really creative and serious topics here (and discussions), more posts goes to Kill a thread or Corrupt a wish :p. I would like to hear if someone have a practical propositon for quote above.

Sorry, I didn't saw your intro. I do admit, I'd killed numerous threads, but this one I will not kill the idea of using creativity, but in a productive way. I wasn't sure, if anyone was thinking about this also; thanx for the reply moon. That depends, what kind of idea/topic: The INTJ Project. It would be a wonderful idea, allowing many contributions from different types to work, as one.

This is a great idea, but I'm racking my brains as to what we could create. There must be something collaborative we can all be working on here and there!?

Any ideas???

Something open-source I'd suggest (and I don't just mean software).

Well, any project requires:

1. Subject - Core of our project and starting point.

2. Research - This includes gathering information, facts and other material.

3. Conclusion - Analysis of presented data. Member debates and final conclusion.

I am more interested in questions which still don't have stable answer and still are "beneath loupe" like this ones:
How pyramids were made? Do aliens exist? Is man evolved from an single cell? Bermuda triangle mystery? Would humankind survive new and deadliest virus? Loch Ness monster? Big foot? What will be when we exshaust natural resources (oil, fresh water) or alterantives for that? Possibility of apocaliptical asteroid? Prophet, proof that future could be "seen" or that's just an random guess?

That kind of "missions" have many advantages if you want to learn more specific about something in interesting way.
We don't have here labs, instruments and specialsts (exceptions exists) so this should be based on posts (pictures, links, etc...). Of course that opinions will be divided, so i recommend a pool for each thread. After discussion and pool vote (voting is available at the end of discussion after all analysis have been read), thread is closed with this kind of sentence:
INTJ forum members mostly suggested that humankind could survive next coming virus. This conclusion is not 100% accurate but we like to form our opinion.

This probably sounds stupid :undecided:. Remarks? Suggestions?

I had no clue, where does this suggestion goes?
If you have an idea you want to make a post about and the topic doesn't already have a thread, you should make a thread for it instead of posting it in someone else's thread that has nothing to do with your post.

If you guys want to discuss these topics with others, why don't you just go make threads about them? This whole forum could be said to be an 'INTJ Project' to discuss ideas with other INTJs. Why does this require anything special?

You know, that's what I was thinking about when I asked this question to myself. Is this an INTJ Project.

Moon, you got alot of good topics to choose from; why, make it a subcategory for each sections. Like INTJ Project A, B, C, etc. It has their own subsections, so we all can catalog it. Too bad, I don't have any ideas, at the moment. If I do, gladly let you all know. The topics can be opened-ended or unopened, which is similar to the various threads on this forum except this has more deep thorough research, including references, etc. Similar to the wikipedia, it will turned into more like INTJpedia.

I think, being INTJ's, we should start a small project to popularize the Dvorak Keyboard.
I don't care if Qwerty is the most common, Dvorak is better. We Know it. FIX IT!

Then we can tackle public schools hahahaha

Hey, whatever goes really, that is why I suggested; INTJ Project A-Topics and then the next one. It really doesn't matter, which one it is. If there is a consensus of a certain topic or independent topics are always welcomed too. One of the many wonders of having this type of the small or big projects. Hmm, the Dvorak Keyboard, first time hearing about that. Curious, give me some summary about it.

Suggestion: Write a small book altogether.

Variants:

1. Fiction

Each member of the project creates a character. They read the descriptions of all the characters of each other. They make a basic plan of a story. Divide the story into chapters. Each member writes one chapter (in parallel). Such type of small book can be done quite fast, even in a week. Not very high quality is expected, of course.

2. Almanac

Each member of the project chooses a thread from the forum and summarizes it. Goal is to gather the interesting ideas developed in the forum discussions during the last year. Often the people here come up with more or less novel visionary insights through their conversations. To summarize this in a small book would give impression of the results of their brainstorming and give a short overview of the best threads in terms of creativity.

As occasionally some non-INTJ members may participate too, it could be beneficial to put their supposed advantages into usage. For example, in a fiction book INFPs may take chapters that allow for more dramatic storyline, and even include poetry.

Thanx, for your suggestions. No.1 or so called Fan Fiction did come to mind. As for the almanac is not a bad idea too. Glad to hear more inputs, before starting it.

Actually they have a nice wikipedia article on it.

Basically the Qwerty keyboard is designed to slow users down (to prevent typewritter jams) and the Dvorak Keyboard is the opposite.

I had a somewhat similar idea (http://www.intjforum.com/showthread.php?t=4609) to this previously. The goal was to produce some sort of "INTJ Guide to Life". People often come on this forum with the same issues and people offer a range of suggestions of what worked in their life and the effect that it had. It would be nice to get this into a structured form.

You are right Jezebel. I was thinking about to "put the thread at more serious level". When i better think, it doesn't requires anything special and creating a ordinary topic could be at the same level as i want. I thought that venerabl thread could have higher effect on member's interest to seriously participate. I just presented my idea and i see in prior posts that "INTJ Project" could be something different. I will watch out this thread.

You know, that's what I was thinking about when I asked this question to myself. Is this an INTJ Project.

Thanks for support. I would like to hear opinion of other members about that. It doesn't have to be complicated with subcategories, just right organised.

The Dvorak keyboard layout differs from the normal qwerty, I assume you know that name comes from the symbols in the top row. Dvorak layout, and you can access it from windows in the keyboard on the control panel, I can tell you if you need help, but it's been a while, any how, I'll type 3 rows, starting where Q would be:
',.pyfgcrl/=
aoeuidhtns-
;qjkxbmwvz the most used letters are center row, second bunch of most used is in the top row, and the less used are in the bottom row. you can find tutorials on the internet, it took me about 8 to 10 hours to get up to 40 wpm.

Hey, I'm sorry, but I'm not giving up my QWERTY even if rocks start falling from the sky.
