Anyone else do these? Be it written down or a mental note. I dunno, they make me feel productive somehow.

I do, because it's fun and to get them off my mind. But I usually end up doing only 1/3 of the stuff on the list, and finishing none. :-/

Oh man I hate that.

I totally understand where you're coming from though. Thankfully I don't have shit due Friday in other classes aside from Inorganic lab report. It's getting done. I just need to reorganize and cite sources basically. Add a few sentences here and there and an abstract.

Aha! I will do that now.

I tried, even had a Franklin Planner that I filled in each day. I found that I would start task A which would lead me to tangent 1, and then to tangent 2, etc... By the time I got to task B the day was over, so I had to copy everything from the previous day to the next day.

That got to be tiresome, so I stopped... Sticky notes are my friends now!

I write down important things I need to do because I'm scared that I'll space out and forget them (though I don't think I ever have forgotten something really important). Sometimes I'll write down not so important things to remind me to actually get it done.

I write a to-do list every weekend because I have so much stuff to do that it's hard to keep track of sometimes, and if I write something down I have at least an 85% chance of remembering it. I also like having the visual there so that I can decide in which order to do them to avoid backtracking/wasting time.

When I can't sleep I get up, write down what's on my mind and go to sleep.

When I make a list during the day I get energized figuring out the most efficient order and best route to take to accomplish everything. When I was younger I had to accomplish everything on the list or I would bust. Then I realized one day that if I made the list everything would get done in due time. An Amazing realization!

I absolutely do not write out lists. I get alot of flack from my istj sister who insists that its a law or something. I just keep the information in my head.

Once I write a list I remember what's on it. But if I don't chances are I may forget. All my lists take post-it note form and generally sound something like this...

Remember:
-Contacts
-Blazer
-Graphics calc.
-Black pens
-Dictionary
-9:00am - not 9:15am as previously noted Gen!

Alternatively, I make lists of everything I must get done as there always seems to be a certain sense of achievement gotten from crossing things off.

I have used these in daily planners, on white boards, notes, etc. My mind will not remember these details, so I can have stress until I know they are recorded some place. I like to place them in order of importance and gleefully cross them off one at a time.

I do it sometimes, when Im out of my mind. The bad thing is that Im to pedantic with the words Im writing, not that I write more than decent. So I don't do it any more, less stress if I keep it in my head I think.

I use a Franklin planner and a "To Do" list. I also get tired of copying tasks I didn't finish from one day to the next. In my Franklin planner I record doctor appointments, meetings, etc., and put tasks like "check on the Russian visa" that need to be done on a timely basis. I keep lists of tasks that I need to do, but not on as timely a basis. This seems to work the best for me. Everyone has a method that works for him or her.

I plan by due dates. I'll write down that it's due X day. So I'll remember to do it, but then prioritize accordingly. Sometimes I use notecards, sometimes I use iCal.

I write things down, but it looks like chicken scratch.

Program: Rainlender
Lists: To-Do, Events
Lists in order of: priority, due date, start date, catagory (work, personal, exam, business etc etc)
Functions: Alarms set to however long before the due date/event date, repeats events daily/weekly, other stuff I haven't explored yet.

Very useful.
It shows the lists neatly on your desktop too...
