Check out this servo boosted suit. This application is only for commercial use but what could u do with stronger alloys and military application?

Wow that thing has allot of potential, You could wrap a soldier around that with bullet proofing and the death toll for wars would go down, you could also develop some thing for amputee patients since it runs of of brain waves.

Why not go the whole 9 yards? Remote operation.

See like I said it has so much potential, that suit can be used in a lot of things.

potentially it has the limits of imagination=limitless. All you would need is a adaptive AI.

Wait, wait. AI? It's just a fancy puppet for now.

I'm afraid by the time robots become humans, humans will have become robots.

.. (which I seriously doubt was their original intention)

With technology developing at such a rapid rate (To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 2 or greater. Thinking of the prospects of Asimov robotics and a ghost in the shell style cybernetics division to every developed nation.

Wonder if the Cyberdyne name is a nod to the Terminator series.:D

That was my initial thought but it happens to be coincidence.

I was just going to say that. Why would they name the company producing this robot after the same one that single handedly destroyed the human race by PRODUCING KILLER ROBOTS! Pretty funny anyway.

They claim it runs on batteries for nearly 3 hours. If it does, it's not adding much to the person who's wearing it. Also, since it uses electric motors I doubt it can move very fast or apply very much force.

Exoskeletons are one of my hobbies. At the moment the public ones are still disappointing. The biggest problem is the power supply. The strong ones (hydraulics) have to have an umbilical and the ones with an internal power supply are weak.
