I/E, N/S, T/F, or P/J? Which clash is most irritating between you and other types?

I'm not so sure I could pick one trait... It's usually certain combinations that annoy me, like the E-F combination.

They say P's are late allot. I can't stand that at all. Either be on time or don't bother.

The other day someone came over my house, and I told them that I had an appointment later, when I tried to get them to leave, they just kept asking for this or that. Finally, I yelled at them, and they left in a huff.
I don’t need that type of loser around me anyway. I don’t like people that are late, but people that try to make late have forfeited their right to live. It’s not that I am extreme, but cross a line with me, and that’s it, your’e history. My brothers laugh about how cold and unforgiving I can be. I am tolerant about a lot of things that people do, but I am not very toleratnt when they do them to me.

Damn, you guys are scary. I'm chronically late... *:scared:
I think Es would be most irritating, especially those who need people around them all the time.

yeah, I'd say E's are the most irritating too- but I know that's mostly because out of all of my functions, I've gotten the most crap for my introvertedness, and I'm kind of jealous of people to whom socializing comes naturally [smiley=undecided.gif]. *As for the others, any extreme would probably clash with me- even extremes of my own type.

I'd say F is probably worst, followed by E.
P is fine, and S is bearable.

ooh that's definitely one for me. a pet peeve of mine is being late. That's probably my top one, too.
then again my sense of time is "being on time = being early and being on time = late" but I give people 5 minutes after the original time (reluctantly).
E's can be dangerous. depends on how patient I am and what the rest of their personality is like.
S's...hmm...one drilled me today on string types and technicalities on what I'm using which kind of irked me. I go by feel. I haven't played tennis in awhile.
F's...hmm....if they keep their feeliness to themselves then maybe it's ok. If they make it known they're offended and jabber on about it...not cool.
I hate P.
I just detest inefficient/disorganization in the carrying out or getting to the final goal of something.
What further exacerbates the above is that INT's are generally smart... but this makes them incredibly dumb.. And a waste of space.
I know an ex commodity dealer that is always on the cusp of a great physicals trade... and I just know that the buyer is leading him on... He's going to get nailed...no contingency.. Just naive.
And he's going to lose everything... idiot. But a bright one though... INTP.

I had a boss that used to say to me, "As smart as you are, is as dumb as you are" (Richard Cooper, 1971. Romney).

Personally, SJs in general tend to annoy be, but particularly ISFJs and ESFJs, because they never seem to ever have any logic whatsoever behind their opinions and arguments. At the same time, they are also too concerned about what is "moral" and "right" etc. ESxPs can also be irritating, due to the fact that they are so wild and careless.

The _STJ or _NFJ combinations, definitely - at least if not well-balanced.

the concept of time is a convenient construct, but ultimately meaningless and a betrayer of the true open-endedness of reality. i am trolling you very hard, i can't help it. please do not respond seriously.

You are right, though. Time keeping does seem like a contrived reality. However, it is one that is agreed upon, at least it seems so. But my problem with time is that it is valuable. This moment only comes around once. For instance, I enjoy writing and reading posts on this forum, but as I casually spend time here, I have a paper due tonight at midnight, and another tomorrow night also at midnight.
One I have researched, but haven't written a thing, yet I have a good idea what I am going to say. But the other one does not hold great interest for me. It is about product life cycles, which are kinda interesting, but this instructor expects, and almost demands nothing original. However, she is quite satisfied with creative plagiarism, from our textbook. Tonight’s paper is almost unbounded, as it relates to leadership, and we have some basketball coach, Phil Jackson, as our starting point. I, of course spend more time on the one I like, for after all, it is my time, even if I weigh the trade offs. If I were doing poorly in the MKT class, I might apply myself a little more, but I am getting an A for the semester, even if I get a B on the paper. My other class, Organizational Communication, is fun, and although I am getting an A in the class, I want to ask the professor to write a reference letter for my grad school admission. In addition, maybe, I will use this paper, or another from this class, for my academic writing sample.

My daughter's type, the ESPF, drives me crazy. And to think I almost named her Ayn Rand!

E - leave me alone and stop judging me for enjoying copious amounts of solitude
F - stop trying to hug me and claiming that I'm insensitive
Unsurprisingly, I'm high 90's for I and 80's for T.

N/S ... Before I even knew of MBTI, I could vaguely distinguish N types from S types; seeing N as an indication of an "interesting" person, and S as indicating a "shallow" person. Now I know better than to be that black and white about it... although I still prefer the company of N to S.
I agree with Firelie...
I don't think any one preference could set me off. It takes one thing to be kind of stupid... it takes several to add up to being annoying.
