So like, did anyone see it?

For the interested peep this is one of the movies which won't leave your mind. Well, it's on my mind often. I've seen it years ago. Like eight times in a row, only to unravel 3 or 4 dimensions, tho I'm aware that there are more. I'm way too stupid to unravel more without putting even more time in it.

Anyone here willing to share the joy of this movie with me? Or perhaps you were totally dissapointed after seeing this movie. Let's talk!

I've seen it but I can't remember much of it. Just that it is very complicated and rather dry, almost like a documentary. The acting is pretty amateurish.
It's somwhere on my DVD shelf though and I should give it another try.

Yeah, you have to be into this sort of thing. The main actor, also the director, studied Quantum Physics (from the top of my head, I may need correction). The budget was about $6K. All actors are not actors but friends/family. This was also the last movie receiving the Alfred P. Sloan Prize (for science in movies) before this prize lost its sponsors.

The only negative point I have is that the two red herrings are totally out of order. But other than that it's a rare intelligent movie.

I am absolutely baffled almost no INTJ has seen this movie. But then again, 70% of the INTJ's here are not INTJ's I think :). It's something I yelled out more often.

I'm barely an INTJ and I've seen this movie. I enjoyed it, it's nice to have a film tickle your brain (without overtly appealing to your emotions) once in a while.

There's nothing emotional in this movie at all is there? Well except for very small bits. It's refreshing indeed. Well put.

I'd say its emotional in that it can incite feelings of frustration (and dare I say a bit of existential discomfort) if you empathize with the main character. Just tension overall. There's no dwelling upon the development of the character and their relationships with others, elements which are eloquently, yet subtly lain out.

It's been awhile since I saw it but it's nice to see a film that doesn't revolve around tawdry melodrama. It kept my interest and I had the urge to find a garage and tinker.

Watched this last night. After it ended I was up for an hour or so thinking about it. The first thought I remember when I woke up this morning was about this fucking film. I think even my dreams were influenced by it.

Very few films these days are ones i must watch again, this is one of them. Catapults itself into my top 10 best films ever.

Definitely. Working out how many Aaron's and Abe's there are seems to be the tricky bit, and also which version of them is in which scene. The other things that confused me were the fail-safe boxes - because we discover that Aaron found out about it and used it himself, creating another fail safe, and then Granger also used it (I think?)..... and also the boxes within boxes that they talked about, I haven't figured that out other than they were talking about not being able to use the same one twice...........So many questions ......ha, will really need another go at this.

Forget about Granger. He's the first red herring more or less. The answer will never be given.

True, the whole concept (challenge) of the movie is to find out how many dimensions there are. I needed to watch the movie 8 times! When a new dimension is introduced you could see at least one of these hints:
- Growth of beard (unshaven face).
- Faint Seagull sound on the background

Maybe that would help.
