I just got through meeting with another INTJ (is it politically correct to refer to an INTJ this way?)...anyway I guess based on the category I have been put in, I am considered an anonymous Lurker and on top of that I am an ESTJ...I was referred to this site to try and understand the INTJ mind as now I have a new boss who is an INTJ and my good friend is an INTJ...I would like to know first of all why INTJs have trouble accepting or even acknowledging compliments...you have a lot to be complemented on but I can't tell that you even caught my compliment (smart, driven, etc.)...I am coming to this forum for help in further understanding the 1% population of the INTJ :)

Welcome to the forum! I hope we can help you reach a better understanding of this often misunderstood personality type. Your lurker status will go away next time you post. Oh, and I think it's pretty hard to offend an INTJ by not being politically correct. *:)

This is a good question so I made a new thread for it here (http://intjforum.com/YaBB.pl?num=1190067869) so you'll get more responses. Some of our INTJs seem to be a bit "shy" about reading/responding to intro threads. *;)
